Nerogk Shorn Caldari Royal Hiigaran Navy	Posted - 2007.11.27 22:18:00 - [1] The Royal Hiigaran Navy is a 3-year-old corporation, that has seen many battles. For a good while, we were a pirate corporation in Genesis. We fought and lived there killing and defending our territory, and we have been in many wars all over the EvE star cluster. We tried out several 0.0 alliances, but it didn't fit our corporation. There have been low times where even pirating could not lift our spirits. Our active membership decreased and we collectively decided that we needed a change. I'm proud to say that entering the Mercenary World is probably RHN's best decision. Our pilots thrive on small gang hunting and roaming battles. Being pirates, we have fought outnumbered plenty and learned a lot from the tough times in Genesis. We also learned how to get into and out of engagements as it suited us. We have been feared, not necessarily because our kill-to-death ratio was great, but because we suprised our enemies with our ferocity, our ingenuity, our lack of fear, and our willingness to fight. I am proud to say that we have become mercenaries. The Royal Hiigaran Navy is now accepting contracts. We have already had a limited number of wars and contracts in the past couple weeks with great success. (worth noting when they dont they stay firmly docked - probably contributes to their K:D ratio) however, they're not unbeatable, i personally havnt lost a ship to them yet (still 1 day to go in the current week of war) but managed to sink one of their interceptors this morning because the chacter "thought i undocked in a tempest" (as i had done twice previously) when i actually undocked in a rapier - ala web scram bang. yey for me, unfortunatly the rest of my corp hasnt been so sucessful... they've done some damage :) just not to me \o/ Mr fRostiE

First of all i have never even seen you out of a station. Secondly, even if our kill-death ratio is good during this war, that doesn't mean we care about it. We are going to fight you every chance we get because all we care about is doing damage and fulfilling our contract. If we can't do you damage then we won't fight, though I don't know of a circumstance where we haven't fought you every chance we had in this war. Also, to say that we don't fight you unless we have number superiority is also a lie, as the first day i fought in the war, I fought you guys 4 or 5 vs me, and didn't stop fighting until my targets were dead or solidly docked. For all you out there that think you are unlucky to be wardeced by them dont. Its an honor and you will propably get more kicks then any mission will give you in highsec from fighting or running from RHN. even loosing to them is propably better then anything else u could possibly have to do in highsec.

Revocks Bishop Amarr Slug Storm Squadron	Posted - 2008.01.10 20:39:00 - [30] We've been in a war with them for about 4 days now and they've been quite weak. With three concurrent wars going, and us, being a corp of only 11 people, we've popped a number of their cruisers, covert ops, and battlecruisers. They've only downed one battleship and that was against a noob pilot. Their station camping ways are sub-par. Not only did all of us leave the camped station without issue, we tracked down their CEO in a mission, and he cuddled with the station until his buddies arrived, almost an hour later. On top of all of that, we still did a fair amount of damage to the corp that hired them, as well as the other merc corp that was thrown on us. Don't waste your isk on these guys, they simply try the blob technique, which may work on carebears and new pvp'ers, but anyone with any experience can easily avoid them. I don't believe we've smacked at all vs SSS, as that's corp policy. Well, where to start? Ok first of all, our losses don't mean anything to us. All that matter to us is making your life impossible and causing as much damage as we can. We think that is what makes a good mercenary corporation. Second of all while it's true you can break our station camps, flying off in vigils and other frigs probably isn't what you really wanted to do with your time in eve. When you tried to warp into range at your own station and even after cloaking, we were able to get on top of you and make you run. You have popped 1 manticore, 1 vexor, and 1 drake when they were each alone and supremely overpowered so the plurals in your post can be eliminated. Now saying that we blob is completely untrue as well. We will fight outnumbered and have for the past 3 + years. If our newer inexperienced members want to come in rifters and stabbers, we let them because that's how they learn to fight as a collective whole and learn to pvp. If you really want to consider 3 week old characters a real threat and part of an unbearable blob, then that's up to you - stay in your station. Now wouldn't you call the 4v1 against my ceo a blob? Did he not undock and take your harbinger to hull still and make him dock? So when about 2 of our members came to help him, you guys didn't stay and booked it. We chased the deimos about 6 jumps before he docked up and a hyperion with 3 Warp Core Stabilizers 12 jumps until he finally docked up. We camped him for about 2 hours after that. The harbinger had a WCS too, i believe, the deimos did not. That is the whole truth. Now we were chasing their fleet again of about 5 ships, and got the biggest and juiciest target the hyperion (we wanted his kill badly cause of the previous night) , and the rest jammed and ran. (This "noob" hype pilot fit well with tech 2 large blasters with void, good rigs, and tech 2 tanking when he didn't fit the WCS) Also we didn't camp you that one day cause you were already being camped by about 4 ships and weren't undocking. It's true sometimes we camp in overwhelming force to show you something. A little fear is good. So thanks for posting in our thread, and I hope we have some fine future battles. You just said it yourself that we camped you till you logged off, killed a battleship, and chased you all over the region. That sounds like mercenary work to me. I could pull up the killmail if you want of the hyperion with 3 WCS in his cargo, i think 1 died and 2 dropped, and they were definitely unpackaged. I'm also pretty sure that i said that our losses do not matter to us in my initial thread, before we got any contracts including the war on you. Even then we are probably still up in monetary damage, i don't know i don't pay attention to it. Please stop hijacking our thread. You're spam and smack is annoying enough in-game. Props to the deimos who didnt actually fit stabs. And I agree, you do bust our camps rather well, your shuttle warping skills are exceptional, but so far in this war your only remarkable trait is the extent of which you're stuck up your own ass. You can't win them all, and you can come out quite evently once in a while. The difference is that you're trying to hit RHNVY's rep based on a brief experience. RHNVY are good people in my book, and while arma and myself don't always see eye to eye, but I respect him quite a bit as a pilot. He's been around nuking corporations with more attitude than yours since before your char creation date. ---------

For example, in a recent PvP op, I lost my ship, an incursus set up to tackle, not to drones, not to another frigate, etc. However, the hyperion took me out, with its guns...I was doing minimal damage...maybe 10-15 dps. And the hyperion decides to attack me...it didn't make sense...and if you don't believe me, I'll send you the killmail...just ask.

RHN is the best god damn PvPers i have had the pleasure to fly with. I fought beside them for 2 years straight and against them for a week. I spent most of that week docked in the station. RHN has had its good times and its bad times, hell what corp hasnt. Despite losing our first Dreadnought the night we jumped it back to our home system. Despite losing an unfitted offline POS because the owner thought it would be safe. Despite having a corp theft and losing around 400mil if i remember correctly. Despite being war decced by 7 corporations at the same time. And finally despite being the most hated bad-asses in Genesis, we stood together. Nothing can tear apart the bond that is formed when you join this corporation and actually commit yourself. And to those of you that noticed I only mentioned that bad things that happened to RHN, the reason i did this is because I could write thirty posts about all the experiences I've had with this top notch group, instead I chose to only write one. So as far as im concerned, im still an RHN member. You can come visit me in Fountain if you want to make something of it. Im more then willing to give you a first class ticket on the podkill express.

If thats the way you want to gt kills, then fine. We're a pretty successful merc corp, theres no ship you cant gank that wont be replaced immediately. Tier 2 bs, t2 fitted, and a tier 3 bs t2 fitted, all lost, probs lost atleast 300mil there, our frigs a cruisers probs no more thana 100mil. Number of kills isn't everything. ----------------------------

I think the thing that struck me the most was their ferocity, and that I have never seen them pull the logoffski tactic. Learned a lot from these guys in the time I was down there.
