Hi,
I've been trying to fit out my Thorax for .0 Angel NPC ratting. My current setup it...
Highslots 5x Heavy Ion Blaster
Meds Web, 10mn ab, cap recharger
lows kin/exp hardeners, MAR, energized reactive membrane, cap relay
im trying to take at the mo' 2x bs spawns, I can last a while to break the tank of the first BS but my cap runs out quite fast, im a low SP character (1.7mil) so my skills arent great but ive made a plan to improve my cap recharge time (which is currently at 300s)
If anyone has any suggestions for improvements id love to hear them

I'm not sure about Angels, but I was able to very successfully rat against triple 1.5M BS spawns in a Vexor (and got a buddy that did it with a Thorax).
We did it with about 1.5M SP, so I know it can be done.
Consider fitting a nos or a cap injector (really) if your cap skills are really poor.

Make sure you have controlled bursts IV, energy management IV, energy systems ops IV, afterburner IV and fuel conservation IV. Run the best repairer you can fit, n-type hardeners, drop the web and fit another cap recharger (what are you trying to web down battleships? and your drones should have no trouble keeping up with the frigs, otherwise train drone navigation IV). Also train armor compensation skills level IV (especially kin and exp) and heavy blaster IV.

hey, not sure for angles, but sperpentis BS spawn is doable in a rax. I used to have tracking disruptor equipped, platted rax with light t2 neutrons, one nos... circle the BS 2000 m range and you should be fine.

Use a vexor with a 1600mm plate, med rep, small guns and nos in the highs. And an ab, orbit close and fast to them. That will work better than a thorax (I've ratted in a vexor a lot).

Im using AB because I need to have as fast cap regen and capactior capacity as possible, with MWD I loose 25% cap, uses wayy more cap to get to the rats and gives me a 500% sig radis boost.

*edit* If you want to use a MWD you will have to drop to a small nos but the medium helps run the MAR when a BS gets a lucky hit.
