CCP Doesn't want you to know this yet, but you can deploy small 'egg coupling' defense arrays for your pod to 'couple' with. These arrays will allow your pod to destroy those who've destroyed you (IF they cant tank normal defense guns).

That must be some sort of bug!
Quite funny though, I have this mental image of two huge guns protracting like "go-go-gadget pod-weaponisation".

Yeah it's actually some kinda graphical bug. After I got hit by the mighty CONCORDOKKEN, I was heading toward station in my pod and if I turned the camera at certain angles, I'd see my pod in the station defense guns.

Graphic bugs by the OP's machine aside, would a couple of decoy pods being deployed alongside your own after your ship dies be too much to ask? They'd just float there in space, and wouldn't warp with you or anything.

Great Idea.. Pod Countermeasures skill to train, make it a consumable fitting .. or something.
