Has anyone heard anything further on if CCP will go through with the publication of the EVE books? I know back when Simon&Schuster owned the game they were planning an entire multi-media structure for the game: Books, T.V. CGI Movie (ala Starship Troopers show animated in computer graphics)the works, but as i have asked recently at my local B. Dalton bookseller, there are none on the incoming list. Any feedback by GM's or Polaris on this would be great, as I was really looking forward to getting all books.

Well I for one don't want to read anything based on EVE....
"The Tempest class Battleship dropped out of warp, her sublight engines screamed as they slewed the mighty vessel around to face her enemy.
A salvo of paradise missiles hissed from the heavy launchers, the glow from their drives lighting up the scanners.
The heavy thunk thunk thunk of the heavy class artillery cannons reloading was both hypnotic and chilling.

I would demand to be played by Bruce Willis, and he'd rip off his classic one-liners from Die Hard with an Eve-twist.
Like "Yippy Kay Yay, Guristas Mother ****er!" or "Ho ho ho! Now I've got a Tachyon Beam Laser!"
But on a serious note... You'd write serious stuff! No really. I think it'd be a great idea to see some eve merchandise. The more money CCP make out of this game the more they can pay Devs think of crazy new ways to torture us, and the better they can make gameplay in general.

Afaik S&SI doesn't have anything to do with EVE anymore, so I doubt there will be any books or similar. I might be wrong ofc, but I haven't heard anything about it.
