Hello there people, i was checking my FW logs and configuring some stuff, whilst playing EvE when all of a sudden i get this message from NORTON sec that "one aplication" named EVE.exe was trying to estabelish a remote conection with my computer.
Now i checked the stuff that eve conects to usually and found nothing disconnected, both my EvE clients were runing smoothly and therefore i blocked this .EXE file permanently, monitored EVE and the network conections for a couple hours and this eve thing knocked my doorstep 4 more times until it gave up.
My question is, since EVE is runing OK and i have no knowledge of what else it might be can anyone from CCP or playerbase enlighten me over this subject.
Is there any conection that is made trough the client that is " out of the client " and is also called EVE.EXE ???
Its a bit puzzeling because the software that reported this was my Spyware/Malware protection and this thing found its way somehow trough my FW and i had to reconfigure stuff again.
Any info on this?

As far as i know the exe that connects to the net from eve is actually called exefile.exe i have never had an eve.exe process running on my pc anyway.

the eve.exe file only loads the splash screen and sets up the environment for the exefile.exe, it does nothing else.
try running this online virus scanner and see what that says.

Okidoki boss, will do, this Eve.exe file tryes to connect after the game is loaded and i'm playing for hour(s) so thats why i found it weird.
Gonna run some stuff when i get home and see what i can find about this connection.
