Does shooting your alt as it jumps through a gate with a hauler full of supplies into your camp count as an embarrasing death ? If so that's mine. |

There's plenty who've had times like that. I remember a friend in another corp had the bright idea to grind standings for jumpclones - they picked federal freight, corp got to 8.00 standings and found out they had no stations with medical bays. |

ISD TYPE40 wrote:The whole point of making sure that threads are in the right place is to revitalise those areas. The only thing a few of us would ask is why the OoPE forum for this thread when OoPE is for topics specifically not related to EvE (as it says in the forum info). Sure there were lots of off-topic posts, but then other threads have those cleaned up with a little post advising people to stay on topic. In the thread there were EvE related posts among the noise - such as recent discussion of setting up the in-game channel, Rui's new mining corp, even discussing bounties in the next update etc.
It was the one thread that at times you could see posts by Dev's, GM's and ISD alike where they're not just moderating the forums, but posting as people. Kind of reminiscent of the old EvE days when people such as Oveur / TomB would post and interact with the community (something that's not really been happening much in recent times). Maybe we'll still see some of those posts in here (hopefully in other parts of the forums too), but as has been said before - it is normally the forum where threads get moved to die.
Still, seeing as it's now in OoPE - we've got kittens, what about the ponies ? |

Reactivated after a decent length break, lots of new changes it seems.... Spent the last half an hour wondering where the option to set custom UI colours and upgrade clones went.
Time to see if anything changed with exploration next I guess, maybe look into wormhole space (never really got into that much before). |

Settled on the dark matter for now, but that was one of the themes I hoped was still around too. Think I saw a thread in F&I forum about it somewhere earlier.
Scipio Artelius wrote: Exploration has changed for the better. New types of sites (sleeper cache, ghost sites) that have some surprises and a bit more game to them (especially the sleeper cache). No loot spew either.
I never liked that loot spew system, so any change to that is a huge improvement. Will look forward to losing some exploration ships in many different ways to the changes soon. |

There's the exception to that - Chribba. Not sure how he manages to keep the interest after all these years without a break, but he seems to have so far. Of course now his names been spoken maybe he'll pop in this thread for some likes....and tell us what the secret to it is. |

I thought that way too, wh's look so much better than k-space....then I remembered you can't use the character customization in them. POS need a module to allow that. |

Candi LeMew wrote:Or better yet, what my boss suggested - deployable dressing rooms, like a depot. Carry it anywhere for those impromptu moments when you need to look your absolute best. I think a few of us would lose a lot of ships by paying no attention to space while changing, but if it was deployable inside a POS shield too that's a good idea.
Zimmy Zeta wrote:
I used to be in a WH corp when wormholes were all new, but I have to say, I hated living out of a POS- I vowed only to return into w-space once ccp had fixed POS mechanics- but then, realistically, this will probably never happen. The other thing that puts me off wormholes are timezone issues...being all alone in your TZ makes the wormhole experience so lonely, it makes you depressed and crazy.
That's been my experience so far with wh's too, if you play irregular hours compared to the rest of your corp there's other parts of EvE that offer more without the POS and logistical headaches.
