You can come visit us in Balle anytime, Ms K. Our quarters is kinda filthy and decrepit, but they have a nice coffee-shop in station. It's actually a nice system with a bit of personality. Sara and I, plus those who've come before us, are always polite, respectful and even warm in our communications with other pilots. We enjoying making new friends and don't hate anyone or wish bad things upon any person other than the destruction of their spaceships.
Unless you're new (and we try to leave legitimately new pilots alone) it's pretty easy to avoid being a target of pilots like me, but we'll be there to catch the folks who're lazy or shoulda known better. Never anything personal in it though and in fact I love spending time with targets afterward, explaining what they could have done better; watching local, checking Dscan, researching system kills, tanking your ship properly and staying aligned. Oh, and of course purchasing a permit.

Though no, there's a huge difference between those kinds of half measures we both referred to.
Me, I drop hints or comments about stories or events. Only times I'll ever refer to someone I dislike, or some conflict, vaguely in half-measure/hint form might be times like people's comments on Slack i that past. Though when I'm posting that here after just returning from confronting them over it one-on-one in a convo.
So yeah, walking into a room and announcing you have an issue with something someone is doing in that room then refusing to elaborate is a whole different kettle of fish together. Though, like my half-stories, you still leave enough crumbs for some people to put the picture together anyway.

I always take my issues to the people concerned if I have them.
Sometimes that's privately, sometimes publicly, but yeah it happens.
For better or worse, and sure it can often result in either. But stuff gnaws me up if I don't communicate it, try and resolve it, or at the least simply force a confrontation to break the silly tension that the opposite creates and clear the air.
And nice job killing Sky, Mr Gord  !
They're good people and love a good fight. Kynric's infinite patience still boggles me.
Also yeah, we're very limited with what we can bring in Horizon for some situations. I have two focussed combat pilots there, and a couple others that are skilled/equiped to pvp in a pinch. It's no opsec I guess, one only need look at the killboards to see it's pretty much Loki/Strat/Tengu (or Onyx). We needed max DPS and only had 3 or 4 pilots, the bubble would be absolutely needed though for obvious reasons, so I refit the Onyx for combat-bubbling (I fit it either for hole rolling, neutting/bubbling or DPS/bubbling.
Was rushed, I should have taken my time getting at least one tackle and giving a manual warp-in with a prayer to Bob. |
