I was trying to find any information about the pay out for a level 5 mission. Can you run them in two T2 battle ships or is a Capital needed? Any info would be helpful thanks.

I doubt there are many who did L5 missions in T2 Battleships. So it will be hard to get some infos about this.

Some of my corp mates have run lvl5's but there were about 4 or 5 of them doing it together. And two of them were in Carriers.
As far as soloing in a T2 Battleship, I'm not sure, but I doubt it.

neut towers means you generally NEED a passive tank and often remote repping if not officer fitted. -sig-
Support the introduction of Blaze M crystals for Amarr! (Or make Amarr the only race able to deal EM damage from turrets).

Our corp did one last night. We had two drakes, a Raven, a Basilisk, and three Manticores. One of the Drakes tanked, the Basilisk kept him up and patched up any occasional aggro-getters, and everyone else blew stuff up. It took a while, but it was a hell of a time.
The Neut and Stasis towers are nasty and should always be the first to go. They also mean that you pretty much need some sort of logistics support for your tank since you'd need a fully passive tank otherwise and fitting one to absorb that kind of damage would either be impossible or impossibly expensive.

don't need cap ships for level 5 missions. most won't take them.
the pay out sucks, or used to. I ran them with 2 accounts, 1 in a t1 passive tank raven and the other in a t1 remote shield rep abbadon. Yes, t1. it's cheap and all you need.
the officer fit setups are real nice too. much easier to kill and more profitable than the level 5 missions
