i was told if i had an idea to post it here so here it is =p
does anyone watch stargate atlantis? if yes yay if no then o well watch it lol anyways i was wondering if it would be at all possible to add the Aurora warship to the game and i do know that it would be really unbalanced but i have come up with a few ideas to balance it out and at the same time keep its powerful stats up jw if thats possible and if so i will give u all i got ^^ ty

The new Hulk in Trinity looks a little like the aurora...
Well, the design might be a good idea for a second Jovian Battleship - a Missile Boat... =)

know but its not the same i mean it may look like it but were are the drones (ancient type) and wepons lol o well i still hope its a possiblity^^

I seriously doubt CCP would put in a ship that doesnt even match the background of the game, plus dont they have to get permission to use all that stuff? I dont know but I really dont think its gonna happen.

i have seen several mods for other games that use copyrighted stuff like the AvP mod for morrowind they were able to change only one or 2 things (so i am told its probly more though) and then the copyright law no longer was in effect and thats how they were able to use it ccp could do the same thing to the ship but change it a lot to match one of the 4 races or say that these ships were part of an race that died out long ago and these warships were found and alls they would have to do is change something like they way the drones are fired rather then having the drone bay aimed forward maby they could aim it up its possible to do but it would be hard esspecily to balance the whole thing

But seriously, if they would have to change the looks of the ship, it would not be the ship from SGA now would it? How many ISK do you estimate CCP buying the rights to use the ship from the SGA production company would be? Or might it atually be worth the fun to risk copyright infringement by changing a few cannons maybe? Ahh, and yes, I can see the problems in the balancing already, the horror, the horror.

rotfl but if not the ship its self y not make its drones you would have to admit that that would be a great improvment to the game o and i know i dont use puncuation when i type nor can i spell to save my life but ya and if not the drones or the ship y not the sheild effects see this can go in many dirctions so idk it just might happen i mean idk about on here but for me much stranger things have happend lol but with the whole balancing issue i have been making a list of the changes needed to be done to make it possible and fair and i have been for weeks and i am still working on it i started long before i started playing this game but it was for another game then came to find out theres a mod for it so when i saw this game and my love to change great things just took over and i said wth ^^ but it could be a possiblity for some of the concepts of the idea but idk
o and simplus massive to answere your first question if alls they had to do was change the dirction the drones come out then it would be a modifyed version of the ship and besids when has anyone ever seen a fully operational aurora (excluding repelcators) so no one relly knows how they are ment to work under a fully operational conditions and the part about the isk so much its unholy probly lol and about inverting the ship it would probly be a relly good looking Minmatar ship like u said wouldnt be able to tell the dif
