I'll make this short and simple. Here's what we're looking for:
PVP is a must
A safe home in 0.0
Low sec nearby is a bonus but not required
Small to medium gangs, no huge super-lag fleet battles.
A decent amount of active members, but not so many that we're looked at as just a number. We want a close-knit relaxed group of mature pilots.
A strong US timezone pilot-base
Competent leadership.
Ventrilo/Teamspeak
Forums are nice too but not a must
What we don't want:
Industrial corps
Pirate corps
Empire-based corps
Tons of POS warfare. Every now and then is ok, but roaming gangs are ideal.
What we can offer:
PVP experience
We are self sufficient
We'll work to help the corp grow and prosper
FC experience in small/medium gangs

PVP - check
Safe 0.0 home - check (but whach local)
Low sec nearyby - 9 jumps do?
Small to medium gangs, no lag fests/bolbs - check
Decent number of members but no numbers - check (everyone knows everyone in shadow and we work as a team)
Strong US TZ - I cant tell you exacat figures for activity, just check out our killboard to get an idea of active times
Competent leadership - check (merr looks at himself and hopes he does a good job)
TS - Check
Forums - Check
No pos wars, good logistics to get equipment in 0.0 or brought down to 0.0. experainced players, 4 year old corp. Euro and US players.

we have all of your requirements, plenty of Canadian players and some USA too (roughly same TZ)
we have safe 0.0 home and have recently taken 2 contelations in branch for secure mining/ratting (if you like that )
we pvp in med sized fleets and have fast hard hitting roaming ops all the time (multiple times a day)
hit me up ingame or talk to hoshiko rei and we will sort you out.

hey check us out, either Alpha tauri or black lotus foundation
we dislike pos warfare but on occasion it is fun to shoot somones pos, we are ANTI-pie. we currently shoot the local pirates on a daily basis. we use ventrillo 3.0. we have a forum killboard and the like. we have a decent/good spot in the local 0.0 to rat/mine.
we currently can fill up about 2 squads when most active, but at the same time we might only have 5-6 people on at a time.
