I'm writing this post with a real-life gnarly headache. Yes, Trinity looks fab but at the pretty resolution on a 20" monitor the font is painfully small. I've adjusted the text sizes to their largest values and it's still too tiny.
I'm in no way near blindness, someday I'll admit age may be taking it's toll. For now tho, the offered text sizes are too small. The only way to make it better has been to reduce resolution to 800x600 and screen space suffers from the larger graphics. Basically, I need 800x600 text on the higher resolutions.
Please, since text is so important to this game, make it readable.
Please sign if you're having the same problem. And no, if I quit playing my main, you cannot have my junk.

Edited by: Hex''Caliber on 30/11/2007 11:35:16 You can actually increase the font size at the chat window; however, the two buttons are currently bugged in that they are missing their graphics making them invisible, thankfully, the game still responds to actions on mouse click events.
Move your mouse pointer to the left of the icons for setting display type and list options (6 small icons above the chat display), here you will find the two invisible buttons, the first to the left will increase font size the second decreases it. As you mouse over these "hidden" buttons you still get a hint popup, just left click when you are over the option you require.
This only allows you to change the chat font size but seriously if other text is causing you problems either your monitor isn't that hot or you do have eyesight problems, I require mild reading glasses but have no need of them in eve on a 22" wide screen, once I enlarge chat text a single level.
SISI testing ôDonÆt forget to start the log server before the client; the logs are needed for bug reports when something goes wrong.ö Regards HexCaliber

I asked a dev about this in local chat and he said at this point implanting a global DPI scaling option would be very difficult so although moniters keep getting bigger and running higher resolutions I don't think we're going to see a fix anytime soon. I use those size adjustments and they work fine for chat. There are no such controls for the myriad other windows.

Signed - it might be difficult to implement without messing up the GUI, but it really is called for.
