The Krath Imperium is one of the, if not THE oldest corporation, or form of corporation in EVE. It was founded almost 3 years ago by Mak'Wu and Gajin. In the meantime, the Imperium has seen it's fair share of events, with a nice time in beta when TTi and Krath were semi-arch enemies.
We have been quiet at the very least since then. Internal problems have caused the Imperium to go into hibernation for quite a bit of time, and also caused a split in the members. Satal's Legion is a child of those events.
The Krath Imperium has entered it's 4th era, which is marked by the revival of the corp a few weeks ago. However, the Krath has a shortage of members, which hinders the military and economical development of the Imperium.
We are searching for dedicated and active players, who also like to indulge themselves in a bit of RP from time to time (for info on that, check our site).
We strive to be a known organisation in EVE, without having to resort to piracy. Our ultimate goal is to control our own space, how large or small it may be. Therefore we need to have a healthy and capable playerbase in our corp, which isn't afraid of doing more than 1 job in his career. We will be mining, pvp'ing, pve'ing, hauling, agent running, whatever it takes to achieve our goals.
If you enjoy a challenge, and want to enjoy EVE to it's maximum potential, you don't have to look further for a corp to join. Join the Krath Imperium!
New players and old players are welcome all the same. Pirate (wannabes) will not be allowed to join, or advance for that matter. You will go through a trial period when you join the Krath, which may last from 1 week up to 2 months. In that period, you will be judged by your activity, competence and trustworthiness.
If you want to join up, join the channel "Krath" or "Satal's Legion" ingame, and speak to a krath member in there. If none are present, send an ingame mail to Reiisha or Eelia Taal, or an out of game mail to [email protected] .
Also, you should drop a line on the Krath Imperium forums.
For joining, come to our HQ at Nare IV Moon 6 - Poteque Pharmacueticals Biotech Production, and find the "join corp" button at our office :)
Lastly, check the Krath Imperium site for more info. The site is undergoing some restructuring, so not all info may be accurate.

Krath, Omnistar, Hosokawa, Torkaj, HellGremlin, a host of others...the list of sheep returning to the fold is long indeed... Good luck, Krath. Always liked the originality of your RP.

Heh, I was in Krath and saw a bunch of immature dolts around. That was way back in alpha when only a couple of members were in testing. I bailed out on Krath and Eve until retail. I hope that you pick and choose members wisely if you want to make a solid corp. When you bring it. Bring it correct. XXOO Shamrock

Heh Shamrock.... I've never experienced Krath as being "immature", and i've been around for a while.... Actually, with my 19 years i'm the youngest member that krath ever had, save for Lestat/Elenmir/Moranor (the same person :P).
And also, that's why we have a trial period ;)

Edited by: Randuin MaraL on 08/03/2004 14:09:13 Greetings to the disciples of my old friend Satal and my best wishes to the Krath! I can recommend the Krath from my own experience between Medusa and Gemini, and I am glad to see them still here. Good luck Reiisha! ____________________________________________________

Be nice to see some of the old timers. Wish them all lucky because they will need it. Eve has changed much and the established groups don't give away much willingly

I'm glad that many people still remember Krath.....
I should point out that krath has never been absent in EVE. The old krath, in the beginning of retail, has fallen apart due to some cumbersome internal conflicts, which spawned Satal's Legion and doomed krath (for a time). Satal's Legion is a fairly rich and small corp with as core members old krathians. In this way, we never have been gone

Krath is a cool corporation, with some interesting RP, I've met a few in alpha and beta and they seem to be a good bunch (although they may not remember me, I was under a different name ).
Good luck to you Krath, corporations with that much history tend to survive even the worst disputes. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. "Can I be a consultant for EVE II?" - WhiteDwarf |

In other words you mean that krath should stay small/dead? Sorry to dissapoint you, but that's not in the plan. Please tell all old and new corps alike that you won't allow them to grow as big to rival the established mega corps.

Well, i know that krath was founded mid 2001, or a bit earlier, since i was looking on the krath site at about that time ^^

Okay, Reiisha, I stand corrected, then.
I could have sworn I knew when Krath went public, though. I did an exclusive back in the summer of 2002, with Grand-Admiral MakWu, and I sort of got the idea, that this was around the first public appearance of the Krath site. But I could be wrong.
Check it out here!
INO also announced the "comming" of Krath in a newsflash. You can read it here
Amusing to read. Thought people might like to see it, now youre recruiting again. Krath IS old!
Maybe we get chance to work together again in the near future. It was fun.

Well, it seems that either
-1: No one without a corp reads these forums, -2: Krath isn't appealing enough, -3: People post too fast in this forum.
Seems like we'll have recruit in a different way

Um, welcome to the world of RP-heavy corp recruiting?
The problem with RP-heavy corps is that they typically appeal more to established players than they do to new ones. Established players, of course, tend to already be in their own corporations. You see the problem...
You should do something that takes advantage of all your backstory to show off what Krath is like now, and where it is trying to go. Write up some fiction for the library. Talk to people about Krath at La Maison. Maybe organize an event for new players that will get them thinking about "that nice corp that gave me that module/skill book. The one where everyone was RPing like x". Show people why they should consider Krath over all the cookie cutter mining/production corps out there.

I would like to join the Krath Imperium. I just got the game and once I figure out how to play it a little bit I could be a reliable member. My E-mail is [email protected] and I will be online tonight around 11:30 EST. If you have teamspeak etc I can log on then.
Thanks
