Me and a frend of mine were hunting Battleships in fountain after killing a spawn and checking the cans one of the BS cans had 1 large ion 1 1600mm hull plate 1 small capflux coil thing and a 10mn ab now the question is this how can a NPC BS fly 900km a sec with a 10mn ab and do th much damage with a Large ion. ALSO on multipule occasions we have fount BS CANS with 1600mm hull plates and medum guns and a 1mn ab? come on reality check. I know this is a game. But I think NPC's should have to adhere to the same Rules in combat as players. I propose the folling changes. 1. The NPC Should have a CAP and it should run out after extended combat. 2. The NPC have a limited supply of AMO like everone else. 3. NPC Should need Suplyes so ocasionaly you may warp in on a NPC indy droping supplys to there Troops in belts. (Like a Convoy will fly in to a Belt and supply the rats with supplys.) 4. When you kill a NPC They drop Loot for The ship class that they were flying. (BS's Drop BS gear. Crusers Drop cruser gear. Frig's drop frig gear. Indys drop indy gear and the stuff they were had in the hull.) 5. NPC Missles should behave as normal missles do they shouldnt be uber missles and go through roids and travle forever. I realy think a ballancing of the loot table is needed.
Well This just my thoughts. Feel free to add to this. or coment on it as needed.

Untill CCP make the AI better I doubt it is a good idea to remove their meta cheating. -------------------------

Maybe the BS ate some noobs in a cruiser earlier which dropped the 10 mn ab :D

BTW NPC will now lock your pod and pod you I got a ride on the clone express today curticy of the serp's

Supposedly, the gear they use is set to self destruct when they die, so that players don't get their hands on them. (thats the rp explanation anyway)

Well if you are earning hundreds of thousands from bounties, AND getting the best kit in the game for free afterwards, it kinda defeats the point of there being a market doesn't it?
Keep the randomness really, otherwise you wouldn't be buying anything anyway.

Edited by: redi on 09/03/2004 11:48:16 Incase you didnt know the NPC's are using tech 2 or similar items but they are all set to autodestruct when the **** goes down. what is left in the can is just items specified in a loot table. WHich has always sucked and will prob always do.
