Ok i am currently running XP pro 64 on my machine and sat down to play some eve.
When i log in the screen stays at the "login" menu and never goes any further. I can hit the ESC key and bring up the "ingame options menu" but the game crashes and says my secession is corrupted. it wont get past the loader screen. WTH ccp? i uninstalled every copy of this game and downloaded a new version, still it crashes the same way.

for windows 2000, go to C drive; documents and settings; administrator (or whatever login you use on that computer); local settings; application data; ccp; then delete the "EVE" folder. should clear up your problem as long as you don't try to get on sisi again. for xp or vista, should be a similar process. make sure you have show hidden files check in properties. if this works, isk can be sent to "IHeartYou"

Edited by: Drokar Gazer on 01/12/2007 04:27:45 I am having this same problem for my alt account, exactly the same, however i use 32 bit xp pro. My main logs in fine using the same eve folder. My alt was able to log in fine prior to loging in Trinity, but after trinity my alt cannot log into the main server. I got the same error. Any suggestions?

I was having this problem: "The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect. Connecting to the server in this state could lead to a rather unpleasant game experience. Please restart the client prior to logging in." And worked for me
