I know that different corps charge different ammount and it depends on crap loads of stuff but. Could someone give me some ball park figures as to how much it costs to hire a merc corp to go to war with another corp and how much it would cost to hire a merc to hunt a specific person.

First of all you cover the price of the wardec
2. expect 750mil -1 billion base price of the contract
3. you can pay per kill 5-10 million maybe
4. instead of 3. you can replace ships or modules lost
5. instead of 3 or 4. you can provide ships for the duration of the contract at a discount
6. instead of... well you get the point, you can also provide ships to be used during the contract which will be returned to you upon conclusion.
7. as you can see there are a number of things on your end that can adjust the price.
8. also how big is the corp you are hiring and hiring against.
9. Pos warfare? (major downside, will make the price of the contract go up considerably)
10. Will capitals be needed?
11. Is it a PvP corp Indy corp or PvE corp your hiring against
12. quite simply there is no single answer to your question "how much for a merc" Every contract is unique, you simply need to contact a merc corp/alliance and speak to a diplomat to iron out the details.

just make all of your corp fly rifters for the duration. it has worked wonders for me, i send all the pirates back to canaidia.
