Maxxorz Caldari Stronghold corp	Posted - 2007.12.01 19:29:00 - [37] Ok first let me get my side of the story down.. was a crappy fit i know but motherships arent cheap and i dont ebay! it was all isk i earned in my 2 years playing.. Started off the night by camping the gate, everything was going alright, ev0ke scout shows up. ok, evoke macheriel on the other side of the gate. I ask him to get his buddy next door to come play. Then more battleships show up for a total of 9 bs and an astarte. I warp off the gate theres no way in hell id fight that plus i know evoke has alot of cap ships at their disposal. they start smacking me in local calling me an ebayer :o. If i really ebayed you think i could afford a better fit? So i know something is up, i have a feeling there are tons of caps waiting next door. So i warp to the gate at 100 and align to my safe and chill for a while. Sure enough 2minutes later, a bs warps in 5km from me and drops a cyno. Ok im aligned I hit warp and get massive lag. Slowly my screen fills up with **. My ms is moving 0m/s i have no idea why, since i was aligned im not a *** idiot :P i get into warp finally and fighters explode onto my screen, at this point im getting 1fps, cant do ** all. I get bumped, I try to stop warp, and i manage to select a celestial object to warp to. Lag is horrible, and i get desynced. I see myself warp out but for some reason im getting shot from 27000km. This was the laggiest crap i have every seen. screen1 screen2 screen3 GJ on the kill though, i just wish it couldve gone down in a proper fight. D:~~

I don't understand how anyone that has owned a carrier long enough to get a mothership can camp gates with them. Nearly all motherships that have camped low sec have been killed. It still amazes me that people use them in this way.

To kill a competent pilot with an emergency cyno is really hard, to kill a n00b, it doesn't matter what they're flying.

It was quite an achievment getting an MS in the first place hopefully it won't take two years to replace it. We all lose ships because of mistakes you just hope that when it is as expensive as this the game mechainics and lag at least give you a fair shot at surviving your mistakes.
