Well I have been looking over this ship and I see some potentials in groub battles. What I like to talk about here is the bonus that you get per Gallente Battleship skill.
Right now we see 5% bonus to Large hybird dmg and 5%(one heavy drone).
Since the Dominix is still and by far the best drone carryer out there and realy doesn't need the boost to drone space I wanted to get other views on it's Bonuses.
I personaly would like to see 5-10% bonus to drone maximum damage per gallente skill level (rater 10 because the standart damage of heavy drone is 18 and with level 4 Gallente battleship we would be seen 21 to max dmg per 5% bonus and 26 per 10% bonus).

Yea the bonus to drone space is not real useful at the moment. Some day when repair drones, salvage drones, etc, come out the bonus might actually be worth something.

The bonus to drone space is great. Allows me to carry even more wasps for when im deep space mining rare ores.
Need both a full set of harvesters and tons of spair wasps to kill the spawns and go back to mining.

Do you actually kill the heavy cruiser spawns with wasps ?

i find the Dom works very well when it comes to low sec mining .. i can control upto 8 heavys and they are more than enough to kill even 4x cruiser spawns of 45k .. and in the rare occasion i lose one, i have several spare in the bay, so i neverleave that spot till im ready to pickup the ore :) ..i mine strictly in 0.1 0.2 for the Hem and Hed and Jas

If theres only three npc cruisers that spawn, yes. But most spawns are 4-6 cruisers +6-8 frigates. Thats why I use 4 rails + two miner 2's and the drones as support on both parts.
28 ark a minute and enough firepower to put down any non-bs spawn that hits me in a mater of one to two minutes.
Have to get creative when youre all alone out in the middle of nowhere.

I like it I love the high cpu for deep core mining and I can carry spare drones for the rest of the mining team
and you can swap out damaged drones for repair
