Just yesterday I was on the wrong end of piracy in a 0.4 system. Although it sucked to loose my Moa, the opponent used his BlackBird quite effectively. I was in an egg before I could MWD away and warp to safety. So whomever says piracy cannot be done is either a coward or does not know how to fit a ship right.

Er, guess I got sidetracked...Anyway, this is what I meant; CCP obviously does everything they can to prevent pirating in empire, aside from putting Sentry guns at asteroid belts, which may be in a patch any day now. So that leaves the pirates with 0.0. I dont think there is enough of a reason for most people to go to 0.0. If we could generate more traffic there, we would be on the right track. Since so many people are in the Agent hamster wheel, maybe Agents should offer more lucrative rewards for completing dangerous missions in 0.0? Why should people be getting BP's for staying safe and cozy in Empire doing completely safe missions? Maybe rare ores should not only be at the ends of the universe? If you could find Bistot a few hops into 0.0, more people would venture out there, and there would be some pretty cool fights over it. Is there really ANY reason to go into 0.0 unless you are going deep into 0.0??? IMHO, there is not. Just my .02 isk. Sorry for the blank post earlier.

I agree, piracy is being slowly but steadily pushed further and further out into the lawless regions.
Most ppl just stay in the giant agent hamster wheel and iŠm sure this hamster wheel is generating a lot of capital for CCP so donŠt expect that to change.
CCP is just not taking piracy seriously as a chosen profession like they advertized on back of the EvE game box upon release.
