I have Research V and Metallurgy V and I am planning to hire myself out to corps who doesnt have these skills ( Metallurgy V was a LONG trainingtime).
If I am to make different BPOs atleast ME5 up to maybe ME15 how long does this take?
I am interested in both frigates, cruisers and most of all battleships as these probably take the longest time to research on?

I sure hope your putting up one hecka collateral for the use of their BP. Also, how can you garontee that your not making copies for yourself (or is that to be your payment).
Most corps that own a BS BPO won't be willing to hand over their 700m-1b blueprint to some joe who has barely better skill than them. Your best chance is to just buy the orig then research it then re-sell it, cuz frankly, I doubt many will fall for such a ploy to steal their BPs.
Also, most corps that have a devoted researcher has gotten those skills to lvl 5 due to the req on tech2 BPs.
Sry to burst your bubble, but there have been far too many scammers in the past to let people be willing to take a chance.

I think the trick is to temporarily join their corp and get read access to the hangar where the BPO is located. Start a research job, and then leave the corp again.

what does the Research skill do? it tells about 'Blueprint manufacturing' (which is NOT copying) and i also can choose that option in research labs, but it doesnt work (yet)

research - decreases time to research productivity (completely useless on anything but ammo and missiles, due to the factthat you can NEVER decrease the build time more than 5 seconds on anything, and judguing from TomB's comments in the last CSM i wonder if he understands this.
Science - same as above but for copying
Metal... - same as above but for ME
