ITS SNOWING IN SEATTLE, KIRkLAND, BELLEVUE, SHORELINE. You know what this means? Seattle will be practically shutdown because we can't handle snow storms. WEEEEEEEEEEEEE. If you are in the state of Washington and its snowing in your area, please respond with location and how much its snowing.

It's snowed about 2 inches here in North Bend.
News is telling us to not go out into snow, because some people don't understand the concept of ice and vehicular motion. They are also telling us to stock up on food. I don't know what's worse -- the fact that they're contradicting themselves, or the fact that they're encouraging us to stockpile supplies because of an inch of fluff that will melt come morning.

Tacitus, I work on Snoqualmie Ridge...and I hate it when it snows, because all of these drivers turn into even bigger raving idiots than normal. It isn't the "can't drive in the snow" part that ****es me off, it is that they get into this mode where they even ignore the little things to make driving safe. It is as if their brains shut down completely when a snowflake hits the roadway.
At least it is warm enough that the roads have not turned to ice. it is no worse out there right now than if it were raining decently hard.
Except for the brain dead "OMGZ, ITZ SNOZ! people.

sure, rub it in will you. cant remember the last time I've seen snow(not counting that wafer thin layer that turns into goo as soon as the sun breaks trough the clouds)

I checked the forecast and it read that it will be raining tomorrow, and a high of 48.
so I guess it might melt, but they are always wrong anyways..........

It's snowing in Victoria Bc, too... we have 2 snowplows for half the Island (300 km). Joy.
Glad I decided to cab it tonight...

You had better be kidding me...
I am coming home from Arizona for the holidays soon. Last year I came home to a house with no power for 2 weeks as a windstorm blew Seattle back into the 19th century the day before I arrived. Had better not happen again...

Man, if those people just knew what real snow is.
Stock up on food because of a small snow storm? Geez. People more or less just get told to drive safely and slow when theres a snow storm in Denmark.

I hope you stocked up on the mandatory mlk, eggs, bread and butter before it started to snow. Have to love the Northeast, every time the weatherman says there's gonna be snow, regardless of the amount those 4 items dissapear from the market shelves.
I guess everyone wants french toast during snowstorms.

snowed for about an hour here at Fort Lewis. Didn't stick though.
First time I have seen snow in about 4 years(damn you Fort Polk) so it was a nice change.

We got an ICE storm here in Connecticut. Basically the water comes down as a super-cooled liquid and freezes the moment it touches anything. Results in everything being covered in an inch of rock solid ice. You think a little bit of snow is bad? Try driving on a sheet of ice. At least we got the proper plows & salt to keep the roads safe-ish. Still a pain since it takes like 20 minutes in -10C just to scr-ape the ice off your car so you can see/drive.
WTF Scr-ape is picked up by the forum and censored because of a #@$# word that has no relation.

Here in Sweden we had temperatures below 0 degrees celcius at night in the later parts of August this year, and yet right now the snow has melted and it's raining outside. The weather is so messed up.
