You can do the booring old trick and simply camp using 8 or 9 battleships with heavy drones, and learn like everyone else that do this against us that we simply wont fight you, or you can be inventive and go for frigates with a few cruiser escorts.
The benefits are clear:
- You get to spend way less cash on replacement ships (not that you risk loosing your battleships when sitting near a gate with 8 of your buddies in their battleships.
- You get to have fun dogfighting and actually fight some interesting running battles with casualties on both sides
Thing is, we have so many wars going, and quite frankly, if someone starts camping us with battleships, we simply go somewhere else and look for trouble. There's no reason to throw ships away against futile odds, even if they do cost very little.

I must say I like Mercenary Frigates. They play the game to have fun. Hope I never have to fight them.

Frigates are really cool. They are better support ships than many may think...

Merc Frigates are a nuisance but that's what makes Eve fun :)
Popped one of their BB's a few days ago and I must say it felt very well after having chased around frigs all over the place hehe :)

Then they shoot at me and I have to kill them.

Seriously considering closing my account or floggin it - but seriously tempted to join you guys - I got a Merlin and Incursus, BB and Thorax... Trained to BS but can't afford one ;)
Any room for me guys? Got clean stats so far.. Got my Drones maxed out.. Could be a benefit to you guys and with a bit more action in the game might keep me here... Let me know - shout me in game or here,.... Blue Ice.....

and we will not hunt them using battleships gate camping. we want to have fun too. we will fight fire with fire and use nothing bigger than a cruiser (ihope) with frig support.

No... not officially. We arn't a member of FE but we do have a NAP with them simply because they have helped us out in the past and we them. We have a lot of members who have hung with them at some point in the past. We consider FE "trusted friends" and I hope they feel the same way towards us.
Jeez we got so many flippin wars right now out of 88 people in Yulai last night 39 of them were chasing Omri and Grimster around the system :)
