Currently in the game battlecruisers, certain ORE ships, and command ship pilots have 16 warfare links they can use. They fall under 5 categories.
You have links that boost your shields, links that boost your armor, links that boost your sensors, links for extra speed and finally a link for miners.
Now these links offer very specialized bonii for the ships it is boosting. The information links offer great boosts for electronic warfare, and the shield links greatly boost the effectiveness of your shield defense systems. These links are pretty skill intensive to be effective. My idea is to provide even more versatility to these links and offer better tactical fittings to use them.
In short, simply add more of them.
New Link/skill Category: Gunnery Warfare Link
Subcategory Skill needed Gunnery Warfare
Skill at Gunnery Warfare, Boosts the falloff of all turrets per level.
Gunnery Warfare Link: Turret Projection
Boosts the optimal range of all turrets on effected ships
Gunnery Warfare Link: Firing Solution
Creates a Sensor Link between the affected ship and the ship using the module boosting the tracking of all turrets on effected ships.
Gunnery Warfare Link: Fire Control
Reduces the capacitor need of all turrets on effected ships.
New Link/Skill Category: Missile Warfare Links
Subcategory skill needed: Missile Warfare
Skill at missile combat, Increases the Flight Time of all missiles per level.
Missile Warfare Link: Pneumatic Launchers
Boosts the Velocity of all missiles on effected ships.
Missile Warfare Link: Pin-Point Navigation
Decrease factor of targets velocity on all missiles on effected ships.
Missile Warfare Link: Loading Bay Catalyst
Boosts the rate of fire for all missile launchers on effected ships.

Thats as far as ill go with drones, I'm a Caldari character so i don't really know much about them, or about the upcoming changes with trinity. When the new patch comes out ill try and educate myself as best i can and come up with a few links.
In the new patch, several new implants will come out, some of them very specialized, such as the ECM implants from Mordu's Legion. Why not add a few new links into the picture? Allow the Command Links to branch out into weapon system, heck the information warfare links are almost totally geared towards ECM bonii, so give weapons some love.
Feedback is much appreciated, especially the kind that comes with gold bars.
