Hey Guys,
I asked in the bloated Information thread but no one was able to give me an answer.
According to the patch notes we have new 'implants & items" coming in Trinity:
Originally by: Patch Notes New implant sets and modules for Mordu's Legion, Thukker Tribe, Syndicate, SSoE and ORE have been created.
However, after I logged into SiSi I was not able to find any new implants or items for any of the above listed entities, other than a few mining lasers for ORE, and thats about it.
Would someone please let me know where I can get a list of the niftiness that is coming? Pretty please?

off the top of my head , I can remember theres a set for agility, a set for ew (ecm and damps(LOL!) range). Im told there gonna be expensive. I suspect some peepes have been running them smaller npc corps since they first heard about the new implants and they should be set for a big payday

You have checked their loyalty stores right? I'm not confirming that they're there, just making sure you weren't expecting to find them on the market.

I was searched using the "Item Name" since the DB is linkable now, trying to see what items will actually link with the keywords (since it should work).
I also used Contracts option to locate the items.
And as I said the only ones I did see were the ORE Lasers and that's about it.

Searching for "Mordu's" won't find you the Centurion implant set, in much the same way that searching for "Sansha's" won't find you the Slaves A full list of the implant set names can be found near the bottom of the devblog here, but for convenience, here they all are:
-Centurion (Mordu's Legion) -Edge (Syndicate) -Harvest (ORE) -Nomad (Thukker) -Virtue (SSoE)
As these are all fairly small ingame entities who've had to engineer the tech from scratch - and spend a large proportion of their budgets doing so - you can generally expect offerings from these factions to be a) not competitive with the best the pirate factions can achieve due to the technology still being in its early stages and b) more expensive than you'd normally expect due to the need to recoup development costs. The upside though is that the vast majority of capsuleer-rated technology created by these factions focuses on areas the other, larger factions have thus far neglected.
The bottom line is that these factions allow you to buy gear that is largely unique in terms of capabilities, at the expense of outright power and, well, expense

Edited by: Venkul Mul on 02/12/2007 20:21:00 Greyscale, I started a thread in the Game development asking that, but I repeat it there:
The SOE implants can be found, on Sisi, only in the LP store in Pure Blind, in the constellation controlled by the Sister.
That is an intended feature or simply a shortcut used on Sisi?
If it is an intended feature it will be true for all the minor faction?
BTW: maybe higher isk cost and less LP cost could be better, or at least easier for most players.

Interesting, the Osmon station, whit its 4 +0 agent (the best SOE agent in high sec) hasn't them, not another pair of station I tried.
Seem strange that the LP stores have different items for the same corp. Or maybe it was something linked to different patches.
TY for the tip.

Found the implants, although I am little bit surprised, they appear to be only Low Grade.. how come guys?
I mean you could have given them a basic +3 Primary, and still left the "regular" bonus. I was so looking forward to the carebear implants from ORE, but now their appeal is much lower, since they are +2 and not +3, I guess that was the intent? If so, why?
Regardless, thank you for introducing them, despite being disappointed, I appreciate it.

Possible explanation for the lack of +3's, new tech for them = not as good as the rest

I wonder if they gave the ORE set something more useful than a small mining laser range extension for their "more expensive than pirate faction" price

Any of these smaller factions working on something like, oh, say, invention implants? I'd be happy to sell them a prototype I have stuck in my head, if it means they could advance the state of the art faster.

Yeop, I agree. It is silly for them to be +2. Unless CCP has something else up their sleeve. I personally would hold off on buying a "Carebear" set for my Miner/Producer for a long while, I much rather spend 500 Mill on a set of +5 than 2-3 bill on a set of +2, with just a "whatever" benefit.
At least from +5s he will be able to get greater benefit, especially since I am training him for Super Fleet Support. As opposed to a damn near useless Mining Laser Distance increase, unless of course you mining Meroxite, in which case it is VERY useful because of the clouds. But, very limited in its application.
If they would only do the Cycle Reduction and would be +3, that would be a lovely set, and not at all overpowered.
I do not think that Content guys really concentrated on the proposed bonuses for the ORE set.
I do understand the viability of the EW, Booster Reduction, and Scanning Implants, they offer much greater benefit, where it would be OK to sacrifice some training time for the long term benefit of faster ships, faster scanning/better scan resolution, or sick EW. But for ORE set they screwed the pig on that one.
Oh well, moving on.

It is possible to petition to get it out unarmed. I did that and it is now sitting in my hangar. At least it free the slot.
