I see 64 ships destroyed during the last 24 hours in Yulai and 89 ships in Lumi.
What is going on there?
I hope it is a major corp war but I kind of doubt it.

No perfectly Legit corp wars in the most part, would be nice if Con'mal or Josh deigned to give the reason though....<g>
I really don't like thinking how many missions I've done over time, or how long they've taken on average. |

I might add 2 of those will also be due to me losing 2 kestrels to XT/STK cruisers

I was always told to aim high and settle low 
The reason so many fights are happening in the starter systems is because that's where the vast majority of people are, you can use agents to track a certain person down, disrupt empire mining ops, evade the hordes of battleships they send after you more easily, and you can go do some agent missions while they waste time camping you
Leave 0.0 for the mass lag-fleet battles and save Empire for the trickier hit'n'run stuff. It's fun.

I guess its time to offer more ammo and weapons to sale in Yulai for all these fighters.
Imagine if you're making Kestrels and selling them in that system.

Those are big highway systems and a lot of people fight thier wars there. Just go through the gate and ignore all of the explosions.
