Hey Folks,
Just started my Free trial of Eve and have been playing for a couple of days now on my Mac. So far after a bit of reading up on what I should do after the initial tutorial and now I've been doing some missions ect and there going smoothly.
I've previously played WoW and FFXI and this game is really cool in comparison as I got bored of WoW after having to put up with a load of 12 year kids who couldn't play after their bed time ha. Anyways, I'm looking for a corporation to join and some in game meet ups as so far I've been playing all solo and I'm getting lonely Ha!

other than that live learn and enjoy the sandbox full of land mines im sure its a better than the roller coaster wow gave that gets boring after the 4th ride.

Welcome to EVE  Just remember never fly or carry what you cannot afford to lose, High sec space is not safe, and in low sec its everyman for himself and extremely dangerous.

And never rush for the big ships or guns. Its better to fly something small well than something big badly.

Greetings comrade and welcome to Eve! You might want to avoid the forums for a few months until everybody stops complaining about the change of the color of a ship, other than that you can pretty much find any piece of information you need here. Including (but not limited to) endless piles of rants on how Amarr supposedly suck, how they dont like the color blue, why everybody loves Chribba and what your most likely going to have to put up with for the coming months.

X1600, nvm. I thought you might going to Fullsail, we run Macbooks with 8600M GTS over here. :P

So true, 2 years into eve, and I just got hacs. I LOVED my rifter and interceptors. I absolutely dispise battleships. But my rifter is a force to be reckoned with.

Been here two years and still haven't figured out how to leave my Ibis, thusly I've taken to attacking shuttles

the only advice i can give ya that the orthers dident is , patience
just relax take things slow
Just dont be stupid and keep your wits about you and you will be fine
and there is a corp recrutment channel ingame
open channels and mailing lists, then ccorperations tab and then recruitment and u can useally find somone nice there to join :) or you could you the forums
