Greetings all.
I'm writing to you today to announce an investment opportunity for players and corporations in preparation for the Trinity patch currently expected to land Wednesday this week.
Short background:
New Eden Depository is a relatively new corporation (about a month old now) that was created at the time to be the central point for investment in a network of (mostly) empire invention POSs. The 'network' at present includes 13 corporations and 3 players who own invention POSs or have access to outpost/station invention services. I believe the majority of the POSs are based in or very close to Jita. Most of these entities have been inventing for almost as long as it has been possible, and have an impressive array of source BPOs, equipment and funds. All of the network are friends that have played eve together for a long while, and trust one another a great deal. Some are RL friends.
The New Eden Depository was created to allow friends to invest across the network as opposed to just a single person or corporation. Since it's formation it has paid out between 12% and 18% each week to all who has invested. Currently it holds just short of 4 billion ISK in the bank that is available to the invention network when needed. As a rule I aim to ensure no more than 60% is ever 'on loan' at any one time to allow people to withdraw their ISK investment at relativity short notice.
Here comes the important bit:
With the new T2 ships arriving very soon we would like to open up the opportunity to invest to the wider EVE community. With the invent-ability of battleships and freighters coming soon we are looking to increase our invention funds considerably. Put simply, at present we are unable to invent freighters or battleships at anything like the rate we want to because of the risk and cost of components.
The New Eden Depository receives back 50% of the profits generated from the ISK it loans, and to date has been offering a ROI of roughly 15% per week (paid on a Sunday).
How to invest:
Transfer a sum of ISK (multiples of 100million only please) to New Eden Depository (corp). You will receive the return we have generated on your investment weekly, and it will be either added to your investment amount or transferred to your player or corporation. If sending an investment please specify which you'd prefer either in the comments or a separate evemail to this char.
Please also consider that the battleship and freighter invention we hope to be running as soon as possible that there will be a large period of time where the ISK is tied up in T2 components and T1 ships, so we may be unable to offer any returns during this initial period. I'd expect this period to last between 1 and 3 months, but again this depends on how much ISK people invest, and what corporations invent and how successful they are.
If by some miracle too much ISK is received (yeah right!) I will simply return the full amount. This is because if we can't actually use the ISK then it will only serve to water-down everyone's ROI.
Trust:
I've thought long and hard about this, and the truth is there is no way I can prove to potential investors that this is indeed genuine. In the end it was decided we'd put this idea out in the hope that people trust us, and if it works then great, if people aren't able to trust us enough to invest then I'm only sorry that is so.

As someone has just pointed out to me, you can't do Player to Corp transfers. If you can't transfer to New Eden Depository (corp) then please instead transfer to Rupert Plush (char). They are one and the same anyway.

Rupert,
Your plan looks fantastic, I really want to be a part of this. Not only do I want to send ISK, but I want to have my corp join your "network".
Please read this link concerning the great activities my corp has been a part of.
Also as soon as you cash this small check that I am sending you I will be able to free all my assest that are currently locked up due to interstellar banking laws. Isk to soon be forthcoming.
Also I noticed that only multiples of 100,000,000 isk is acceptable, would you be willing to make an allowance since I would like to invest 666,666,666isk in this venture?

Okay Rupert, there's a few things here.
ONE 15% a week is a lot of money. Where is that money coming from?
TWO You forgot to mention how much capital you need to raise
THREE have all 13 corporation's CEO's post here to confirm they're participating, and have the 3 additional players post as well just as a show of hands and I think you might have something going on here.
Also, do what Treelox says, especially that part about bending the rules on investments.

Ok, so you have around 4 bil.
60% ish can be on load = 2 ish bil.
you recieve 50% of the profit from the loans and that comes to around 15% of the total fund per week or around 600 mil. That means someone is generating 1.2 bil profit every week off the back of 2 bil through invention... It just does not add up.
Do these inventors sell BPCs or do they produce the goods and then sell?
If there are many inventors across many high sec POSes, all making billions a week, then why do you need our money and why is there only 4 bil in the fund?
How are the loans managed? Is there any form of collateral?
Is there a limit on the size of a loan?
If they are curently inventing stuff and producing so much money then why move to T2 battleships?
Even if you do go to T2 battleships, why stop invention in the other areas?
Honestly, the whole thing stinks.

If you are earning a 15% return each week and you reinvest the money into the business, with compound interest you will have:
114 billion ISK in 24 weeks.
Why would you possibly need ISK from the community.
If you are gonna scam try to make it at least realistic.
If it is true please provide screenshots of wallet from past performance over last 4 weeks, upto dec 1st. If it turns out to be true I'll invest a billion.
