I am putting together my first Abaddon loadout and will also be fitting my first ever rig setups for this vessel. After going over all the details, I'd appreciate some veteran Amarr input on the subject of rigs.
What is best advised? I know the Abaddon already has those great resistance bonuses, and I do favor armor hardeners in the lows; but should I go with Anti-Explosive/Kinetic/Thermal Pump rigs to push the resistances even higher? Or do I plate up with a pair of 1600mm and go for 3 Trimark rigs to boost overall armor HPs? Finally, is it generally accepted instead that most Amarr ships should go with 3 CCC rigs to insure cap stability?

Personally I fit Abaddons with 2x Auxiliary Nano Pump and 1x CCC
But, I fit some out-there Abaddons. To each his own.

this
also when using it for bait or tanking 2 aux nano pumps and 1 nanobot accelerator. can tank any regular carrier in game as long as you have cap.

I prefer one Aux nano pump and 2x ccc for pve:)
2x nano pump and one ccc could work I guess, if you compensate with cap modules.
Nano pumps are great as it's the only way to increase your armor repair ammount! (I dislike the 15% faster repspeed ones as it also uses more cap..)

3 x Powergrid rigs is handy if you have a logistics or capital transfering you cap. This way you can fit 8 Tach +MWD without any problems. only useful if you have someone giving you cap mind you, or, as in my case, have a hauler full of cap booster charges following you about.

No, the only advantage they have over trimarks in any realistic fit is that they make your reps more efficient. However, if you're going for rep efficiency then you want Aux Pumps and Nano Accelerators over these anyway in the rig slots.
So yeah they don't really have much of a place.
