Fighters slamming into your ship should work about the same though You are right to some extent, cept put a few on it, drop a cyno, drop a few dreads, carriers, and maybe a mom or two and you have a dead Low Sec pirating mom, while they can't be remote reped while the script is going, they can however MWD, imagine a broadsword going 3k a sec around your mom, 50 fighters wont do jack **** and 30 km says the Smartbombs wont either. Oh and before you say so, yes I know officer webs can pin em, but if you're fitting officer, you're giving that much more reason for someone to want to get a squad of 5-6 HI to pin you down while the blob gets ya :)

Posted - 2007.12.03 10:11:00 - [11] Edited by: Xenny Lee on 03/12/2007 10:16:38 Not sure I think the script still says you can't be reped with the script running but don't have the speed limitations, but even so it basically takes solo low sec ganking out of the equation since if like alot of people have pointed out, a well placed blob of carriers only need about a minute to kill the thing and the Heavy dictors even have a slightly better tank then the Hacs (most of em, save the Sacrilege) edit: They all preety much have a much better tank the the Hacs, so I wouldn't be surprised if with some rotation going and a squad of 3-4 Heavy dictors the Mom fails at killing any of em (turn of scram, get remote reped by a carrier) and on their own they all have a tank near what the sacrilege. So I think once a decent amount of em start pumping out... we will be looking at the end of the solo low sec ganking mom on popular gates.

As soon as one is being targeted, another one warps in and keeps the mothership down, and so on until said mothership is dead. Add to this that lowsec motherships are usually piloted by the dumbest players in Eve...

Also this is just a nerf for the solopwnmobil low sec ms, and its gettin it in line for teamwork.

The main difference with heavy dictors is that it takes 1 maybe 2 ships to get the tackle going, where neuting cap and bump takes at least 6 BS dedicated to the neuts and a nano BS or even dread to get the good bumps rolling. 15 fighters? Who cares, even 20 wont insta gib a devoter thats plated with monster resists.... plate and rig the sucker and you get a monster passive amount of hit points, 7 low slots, resist bonus and enough grid for 1-2 1600 if you don't need the firepower....... and like I said, rotate the dictors, ie: fighters are all on me, turning off my point, remote rep as soon as you can. I agree with the teamwork thing, but if you're a lone Mom sitting on a gate (or arazu sitting in system waiting for something to gank with you're mom) which is what quite a few Mom pilots do in their spare time... you will now have a good reason to be scared of losing your ship... rather then just be a coward in low sec because they nerfed your ship to be in line with the rest of the ships in this game that are practically invulnerable if they can't be tackled.
