Seems we have a new closet industry in Eve!
What did I encounter in Amarr gate camping today but two 'newbs' in Punishers demanding people pay or not be allowed to pass.
Of course they could do nothing. I'm sure they were just hoping people would open fire on them so they could 'collect' the loot.
Its like email spam. Annoying but you can live with it.
But some idiot is going to bite, and I hope it ain't an innocent newb.

Its an underhand tactic and they use new players lack of knowledge of game mechanics to lure them into paying or shooting. I have been trying to think of how CCP could make locking at targets around gates punishable but every idea has a negative affect on combat situations
Hope CCP has a solution or may be i just need another coffee

Might be a bummer for the newbs who target locked someone to see what happened then eh?
Seriously target locking shouldn't be a crime.
And I'm sure Moo would be ripping their teeth out if they were caught b4 they fired in a life and death situation with "You are about to fly on another player please confirm..."
