oohh I wish, the choice is very very limited here in the icelandic supermarkets. You can hear every foreigner complain about it at CCP

The problem with foreign foods is that the market for them is too small to make importing them in any sizeable quantity profitable unless you are one of the large supermarket chains. We're out in the middle of the North Atlantic so everything has either got to be shipped in or flown in. That, plus import duties and the 24.5% VAT we pay here, adds to the cost of that bag of Haagse Hopjes to the point where it gets crazy stupid expensive.  There is one supermarket here called Hagkaup which sells some foreign foods but these are usually seasonal stuff and priced so high that you get a call from your bank manager querying the amount being charged to your card as they suspect fraud (this happened to me last week  ).

I heartedly disagree Eris: We make Dutch a better language and at least Belgian voices are bearable to listen to. (The dutch guys from my corp sound more like microphone feedback from holding it too close to the speakers than people)
