When it comes to recruitment at Eve Defence Force, our vision is simple; we want to be the most talent-rich corporation in Eve and that's why we're looking for pilots who want to pew pew on a daily basis with pilots who really know what they're doing as part of a highly organised corp. 20 mill sp and six months prior PvP expereince required (unless directly invited by someone in EDF). When we go out roaming, it's not looking for random ganks, although we do gank whatever crosses our path, rather we go out and we look for a fight so we're looking for PvPers on all time zones who are interested in fighting as part of a team when outnumbered Make a Difference

It is completely different with only a handful of pilots remaining from those days. Despite our achievements in there, most would not make it in the modern EDF because we have different priorities and different goals we wish to achieve. If you want serious, hardcore PvP with purpose and by that I don't mean random ganking, I mean fighting outnumbered when the odds are against you and coming out victorious, then ours is the corp to join. If you want casual, nanofag PvP then don't bother applying. You won't cut it. Make a Difference

Do you love the idea of being deployed behind enemy lines and tasked with causing havoc? Can you fly a Black Ops, Recon, Stealth Bomber or Electronic Attack Frigate? If the answer to these questions is yes the Eve Defence Force's 5th Commpany is for you. We're looking for dedicated and expereinced pilots to form a Special Ops Commando team that will be sent on a variety of mission types around Eve. Candidates will be chosen from applicants who are heavily expereinced in small gang warfare and must have the following to apply: 40 million Skill points. Skills in a variety of bomb types. 3 Years or more small gang warfare expereince. Can fly Black Ops, Recon, Stealth Bomber and Electronic Attack ship (each team member needs to fufill any role). Own and willing to use a Mic to talk on Vent. The team will be headed up by an existing member with certain existing members already in. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake Black Ops on a regular basis so regular and lengthy playtimes are a bonus. Unsuccessful candidates might still be offered a place in the regular Legio but 5th Company is for the Elite only. N.B. These entry requirements are not the same for day to day PvPers. Yesterday started a bit slow, because we have very little guys around DT they took the upper hand, popped the bubbles we put at their pos, and were camping the gate. At 13:00, we decided to warp in our BS and Support, while we got additional reinforcements from AH-. Result: 44 Ships killed (1833.8M ISK) 8 Ships lost (479M ISK) http://kb.insrg.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=22258 At 22:00, they attacked our gatecamp from 2 sides, pretty similar to our tactic earlier. Result: 105 Ships killed (3105.56M ISK) 16 Ships lost (662M ISK) http://kb.insrg.com/?a=kill_related&kll_id=22426 Then, at 00:00, they decided to warp into a safespot. Guess what? Great corp, great band of people, in a VERY effective alliance. That means I'll be doing more recruitment and interviews so allow me to recap what's required so as not to waste each others time. PvPers 20 mill SP in combat minimum. Killboard links. Temporary API key. References. Prior PvP expereince (that's wht the killboard links are for). No purchased accounts - we check for that. Two prior corps. Able to use T2 Large guns (unless specialised in another area). Miners Two prior corps. Fly a Covetor. Fly a T2 hauler or Freighter. Be able to or willing to train combat support skills such as Logistics ship or Fleet Command Ship and associated skills. Whilst no miners are required to PvP, they do need to be useful in defensive fleet engagements so we require you to be trained in a non-combat area of support which allows you to avoid fighting whilst being useful. Delenarious	Posted - 2008.04.26 16:57:00 - [133] Hi John, reading yr article with high interest, as an old veteran myself (have a look at my info), I do feel the perk to get back to some old school ways of playing EVE ;-) Currently, I am mining my ass off with my HULK (approx. 3mil Veldspar, 1mil Scordite + 1mil Plagioclase per day)to be able to buy the components for my Nidhoggur plus have the skills trained within the next 30 days. So I work hard, when I get to play EVE (sometimes I am off for a week or more due to RL issues) and I like to PvP, eventhough I admit my skills in making money played a larger role ;-) I have a little fleet of a nice tackler (8500 m/s), stealth bomber and a HUGINN, can also fly a Vagabond with T2 equippment and of course Tier 1, 2 and 3 Minmatar BS. I lost 9 ships during our last evac. from BQO since I wasn¦t able to fly my own carrier and we were fired upon within the last minutes of retreat, no one left to cover me :-(( So, right now I am working on my own stability, but then thrive to enter some honorable deeds ;-) Delenarious is a multi-purpose char. with excellent mining, refining abilities - base skills to build most ships and almost maxed out drone skills (except for fighter drones). I have a good range of EW skills, plus Artillery and Autocannon. Let me know if you should continue talking...just EVE mail me (please)...maybe you can answer following questions of mine: 1) Do you belong to an alliance? 2) In what region of EVE r u mainly active? 3) Do I(we) have secure access to 0.0?
