link not working for me so don't know...

Haven't tried one of those, but I do have one of Microsoft's Strategic Commander "pads" sat on my desk atm

Looks cool.. but the thing is in eve you use your mouse more often then your keybord ( i do ) so i think it's nice for First Person Shooters but not for eve

No lefty support = the loose.
Even though if they added in a left support and the ability to use both at the same time then it might work pretty well for eve. The camera axis might get a little confusing but it might work.
Ill definatly keep my eyes open for these in the future at the local comp store.

I have one of the previous versions of that control pad in a box somewhere, it is a big help for FPS and `first person` MMorpg`s, that have a lot of keyboard shortcuts, but I really can`t see a use for it in eve.
Virtually everything in eve is done via the mouse and the F1 - F8 keyboard shortcuts are just as easy as using the nostromo - Unless someone has made a useful template for the nostromo????

yep I use that exact pad. Mostly for FPS, but I found out later it works GREAT with EVE. Muahahaha.

hmmmz might be a good idea to get one then...can u bind the medslots to the 2nd row without problems? would appreciate it if u said a little more about how it works, Nails. (tired of hitting alt+4 in the middle of battle :\)

hehe the one pictured there looks left handed to me. i would imagine you control the joypad with your thumb and not your baby finger.

unless im mistaken, any macro can be programmed into the keypad, therefore instead of having to hit alt+an f-key, you can program it into a one touch key.

I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to fly my ship around and control it not by double clicking its destination but by using my expensive joystic thats been collecting dust since i started playing eve. Imagine how fun combat would be if we could control our MWD with the throttle and make wide turns around our target.

I'm currently waiting for the N52 to be released in the UK... but currently I'm using the N50 version and for Eve it is EXCELLENT.
I had it fitted to the left arm of my chair and a logitec trackball fitted to the right arm. I can sit back and control Eve effortlessly.
Oh yeah... and the way I have it set up is the top line is my guns and bottom row is my mid modules. There are various other shortcuts (such as map and "fire all guns" connected to shifted keys)
So whoever said this is for FPS only is WAY wrong.
