I would like to thank the moderators for their swift action regarding said post. Unfortunately, that post did accumulate 12 views, and I find it an obligation to make this post to counter those 12 views.
Buying ISK is against the EULA, and is a bannable offense. Even if you don't get banned, any items you bought with this ISK will be removed, and the equivalent amount of ISK that you bought deducted from your wallet, even if it leaves you with a negative balance. This will have a net result of LOSING more ISK than you purchased. Plus, once you have a negative balance, you are extremely limited in what you can do. You can not:
Create contracts Place buy orders (obviously) Place SELL orders (you can't pay the broker)
If you so desire to convert your real life money into ISK, CCP endorses purchasing GTCs from them, and then selling them to players for ISK via the secure GTC transfer method.
Thank you for your time.

You people act like you're surprised. For more information on the lengths of throwaway accounts and scorched-earth spamming that RMT losers will go to, I suggest you take a look at Blizzard vs. Gold sellers.
The more popular EVE gets = The more ISK spammers you will see.

You'd think the rampant spamming of official forums would warrant some retaliation... CCP could easily smack them hard , players report ISK farmers often enough. Seriously... place a few GMs in Ingunn for a day to flag the macro haulers , ban them all the next day - problem solved.

It's not that simple unfortunately, otherwise CCP would have it done. ---------------- Tarminic - 29 Million SP in pink Forum Warfare |

Banning Isk buyers and farmers is good and all but the problem is normal people are getting screwed by it. Our corp has lost 3 BILLION ISK from CCP's gm's not even bothering to look at logs and removing anything sent over 300 million isk. It took us a while to figure out how much we could send in the corp, between the wallets, where CCP wouldn't just randomly slap us with "isk buying" and remove almost all the money in the corp. It's rediculous that becaise of ISK farmers and sellers normal players are getting screwed by not only lazy GM's but by ones who don't bother seeing what's going on. I haven't lost any, mostly because I keep all money on the account it is made on, but I know a guy in the corp we had to help out of the negative hole twice because of this. He sold 10 skill books total, we helped him get them from scan sites, and within an hour of selling them ON THE TRADE CHANNEL the money was removed. Oh and btw, he contracted them and they still removed the money. CCP needs to look into there GM doings, between the fiasco last year over the GM's funding part of bob's operation and this happening it is starting to look like the GM's might be doing something wacky.

Why does this not suprise me?
The number one worst part of eve is the GM service. Not only do situations like this occur but the wait time is often 3 months.
If I petition a gold seller in world of warcraft I am contacted within 10 seconds. If I petition about item loss or similar the most I've had is an hour.
Please have a look at the competition.

It shouldn't, I love the response he got from the GM's. If the corp mail was still there I would post it.
"We are sorry for your loss but if you would rather we could just ban you for selling isk. Due to the high volume of reports of purchasing isk we do not have time or the manpower to go through each log and verify the sale is not from an isk seller. The only suggestion I can give is to ensure that you do not sell multiple items for a large sum of money from now on and to not transfer money between players or corporations."
All I could get from him, he's at work and can't look at the petition right now.
