Im bored with Ratting/Missions, so I feel like doing a community service while waiting for my JC timer to go away.
Where are some good hotspots for these targets in low/high sec? If possible Id be willing to join an already existing operation with this goal in mind.
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
Joining channel macrointel in game is a good start. You'll find like minded folk and good, um, intel on...macros (farmers). The name's a dead giveaway.
1. Buy Vexor 2. Fit for Gank 3. Suicide ISK farmer 4. Grind sec 5. see 1. |

Aridia seems to be another hervily infested region (the lowsec systems on the "far" side of Sazilid with access to Khanid and Fountain).
There is no particular system where most of them are, such as Ingunn, you simply find macro haulers all over the region.
It might not be the kind of hotspot that Ingunn is, but it is a quiet region with less traffic, a lower chance to get ganked while ganking macros, and imho it is a bad idea to concentrate on Ingunn too much and leave macro haulers in other regions alone...

Just make sure you don't hit any pods with those smart bombs. They have a tendency to blow up everything.

Yes, attacking someone who isn't a Macro wouldn't be a good idea (http://www.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=845783)
But I'm all for freeing up the Ore.

A lot of major alliances like Goonswarm and RA now hire the chinese macro ratters, their systems look like a macro ratters dream come true, every single system has one or two guys in cloaking ravens, and all they do ALL DAY LONG every single day is rat, rat, rat. I'll say one thing for BoB, they don't allow this and will kick a corp out of the Alliance or GBC if caught doing this.
This is common all over 0.0 now with entire area infested with swarms of these folks, all wanting to know "Can I join your legion?" and then talking in Chinese. I've actually been learning Chinese so I can talk to them, some of them are very nice, they tell me about the hard life they have being poor in China and this is the only income they have. Some of them speak pretty good English.
I still hunt them often though. They leave haulers all over as they constantly have to bring out more torps. And they all seem to have deep safe spots anywhere from 100 au to 250 au out from the sun, not sure how they accomplish that, but I find it in system after system, a cluster of haulers and shuttles all belonging to the same isk farmers.
They tell me they have bosses who they have to give all the isk to each day, and they get a small hourly wage.
They now are very common mission running in empire, too, Motsu is full of them. Mostly very nice people to talk to but I still kill them every chance I get. To me they are a blight upon the land. |
