It is comming to a point where it really starts to make people angry.
I crossed 8 regions today and did not found even one free slot where i could start researching my rig BPO.
I fully understand that since inventin and such the slots are more used but this has become ridiculous.
I for sure will not setup a pos just to start researching 1 single tech 1 rig BPO.
Something needs to be done finally about this, the game is anyway in a broke stage and nowadays it is impossible to do the most simple things. It has come to a stage where you must plan hours of flying or god knows what to do what ever you do.
Introduce more science station or double/trippel the slots in allready existing stations. This development was easy to been forseen when the invention hit tranquility so it makes it even harder for me to understand why CCP dont do anything against that.

It is a bit intended that stations have to low slots count versus demand.
It was stated at some point that slot counts on stations won't change.
You don't need your own pos, there are many corpos that will do it for you, and rig bpo's arent really costly so giving it to someone for research shouldn't be hard.

Well, before RMR there were 50 Science Slots available, all able to do ME research, PE research and copying. Now, to any CCP or GM: Find me any station in the Empire where the 50 PE slots are taken and where at least one of the 20 ME slots is free...
I guess 5 PE slots are enough - give the rest of them to ME research!

if i would do some invention things then may i run a pos with a lab on it. But i only need some researched BPOs to start a small production (see me as a noob in production) but it is absolutelyimpossible to find a ME research slot. I crossed today again 4 regions and the next free slot in these 4 regions will be in 7 days.
so people who start playing the game and want to do some industry are naturaly keeped out because they dont have the money to put up a pos or they just give up after a week of searching for one free slot.
Also the above mentioned Corporations that do such kind of a service: i would like to get in contact with them as i really need finally some BPOs brought to a useful ME lvl. But i hope it wont cost me like 200m or something like that, because if so then i go to jita and hunt tech1 haulers full of good items instead of doing industry things.

just add it to the shortest que you find... i often find slots with no more than 20days to wait... if that hurts you too much hire someone to research it for you or as has been said setup a pos...

done, i made a contract with a industry corp they will research it for me.
but still, my point stays the same. i think there should be more research slots in empire or something has to be changed.
For somebody who does invention it is fruitable to set up a pos but for small-industry-business guys it just dont pay off atm.

If you still think there needs to be more research slots, then build them. That is why we have high sec POS's. If there was "enough" NPC slots, there would be no point for anyone to maintain POS labs.
