Edited by: Elvarien on 06/12/2007 01:36:07 I am running the new graphics client on my laptop and I am encountering a strange glitch.
The client boots up without issues and shows me my ship as I login. I have about 45 seconds of graphical splendor after wich the ship and anything new that is loaded in after that is replaced with big white shining blocks making space look like a large game of tetris. If I undock all ships are replaced by the same shining white blocks. I`l Make a screenshot to demonstrate. edit: screenshot fcked up forum layout. Reduced it to a link instead http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/5206/tetrisinspacetx5.jpg
This disapears when I close the game client and restart it wich gives me yet another guestimated 45 seconds of graphic wonder before returning me to tetris in space.
I am running the game under the following setup. [laptop Jewel, Diamond 2500] Geforce 6600 Go Graphics card 1024 MB of memory Enough Space left on my Hd[scratch] 1.9 ghz pentium proc
lesee ... running DX diag for more detailed info, this might span over another post as its result can be verbose [I`l post relevant info only unless more is requested]

Update your graphics drivers. I recomend using the Nvidia Omega Drivers from http://www.omegadrivers.net.

omega drivers don't help in anything, i have tryed 5 or 6 different drivers, even some that aren't recommended, and nothing i also keep getting the silhouette of objects and all white inside, in some situation with the right zoom and angle i can see the ships in space and station textures. but the most i see in space atm are big white silhouettes (damm your tetris looks even worst then mine).the computer was formated today, all graphics and directx updated. Qosmio g20-118 graphic card is a geforce go6600 also, but other ppl with different card is having the same problem.... any ideas how to solve this.... already tryed different configs on eve

No problem solver yet clearing cash did not work and over the forum I`ve found out that a large amount of other people have the same issues most of em using Nvidia graphics cards of all sorts and no latest drivers seems not to be the solution >--- sig originally by Kel Solaar null |

More than that, you will get the same thing as me (http://img137.imageshack.us/my.php?image=20071128131047zb7.jpg) if you uncheck the HDR option : for any unknown reason it make some shiny squares instead of rendering the "correct 3D shape".

The "white shadow" issue is endemic to NVidia 66xx cards, but other fixes mentioned in the Trinity Post-Deployment Issues thread that work fine for the desktop cards will NOT work for the mobile ("Go") series. Specifically, ForceWare 163.75 cannot be applied to the Go 6600+ series. After half a day of looking for driver updates and tweaks for the Go 6600 installed in my laptop, I'm right back to where I started. Current driver version for the Go 6600 is 7.8.8.2, which is TWO years old. This card meets CCP's advertised requirements, so I'm very eager to see what the next patch brings.

I second that. Got the modded driver I needed after reading that thread, and I am now up and running.
