i dont know exactly what happened but i got a mission to deliver spirits to a base from my agent.
so i set my destination and hit auto pilot. about 2 mins later i lose connection out of the blue and when i logged back in i was dead.
just now im in a station in 0.6 space. wondering who killed me. is there any npc pirates in 0.6 space?
really annoying that the only time i have ever lost connection in this game is the same time someone attacks me.

Edited by: Khaarg on 09/03/2004 19:17:08 ah i did get a mail. someone called te guristas killed me.
i didnt think i would get a dangerous mission so early on.
not fair that i had to lose conn and then log back in dead.
i thought something really dodgy happened.
just noticed that i have dropped from over 100,000 isk down to 38,000 is that because i died?

Edited by: Daolin on 09/03/2004 20:53:13 Edited by: Daolin on 09/03/2004 20:52:09 The "transactions" tab only shows money traded on the market. The "journal" tab should have a list of all monetary transactions on your account. If the 70k loss isn't there, do a petition.
Since you said you were doing a deliver mission, these 70k were probably the "collateral" for the cargo. When accepting a courier mission, you pay the agent about as much money as your cargo is worth, and you get that money back upon successful delivery. If you loose the cargo, you have also lost the collateral money.
Edit: Also, if you lost connection because of a server node dropping, you can petition for reimbursement of the ship you lost. If the disconnect was caused by your client, or by the network somewhere between you and CCP, you won't get reimbursement though.

If you are not sure, try a petition and a GM will investigate. It's just that you will only be reimbursed if it was verifiably a server node that caused the disconnect.
