High: 6xcruise + tractor/cloak
med: inject, 2xinvuln, boost amp, EM hard, XL boost
low: DC, 4x BCU
rigs: op. soldifier + therm rig
- That's what I use, add an EM rig and you don't really need the EM hard which frees up one medslot. For PvP that'd be a web for me. OR ye could add a CCC rig etc...

In the past, Torps+Painters > Cruise DPS. Drones for the rest.
Now Torps+AB's is unusable due to the cpu/grid req's of siege launchers.
Now Cruise+anything is still a waste of time unless you're fighting HACs and frigs.
Now drones are worthless since the 'new' option can actually hurt frig-size ships.
Anyone using Torps also has enough skills to tank any lvl4, there is zero need for more tank. Also, there is no mid-slot DPS mod for missiles. Raven owners now have a useless midslot.
That said, I really don't know. A CNR with T2 cruise missiles, hardeners, maybe a nerfed sensor mod (esp if you can find an ARM script), and BCU's. Too bad 4 bcu's is basicly the same bonus as 5 due to stacking.
In other words, anyone who trained for torps, painters, and drone skills to use on a Raven/CNR are taking it up the rear.

Now you can actually pvp in your torp raven or choose to slightly reskil to use cruise and carry on being a carebear

Kouki, please don't post while angry. You've been filling these boards with very emotional and irrational complaints all night. You obviously really liked the torps the way they were, but the change was a necessary one. Besides, Cruises are not that much slower for missions. Sure, you lose about 20% of your (*theoretical!) dps by using Cruises, but you have to admit, the range was extreme and the weapon was imbalanced.
Now, not only are sieges in line with the other weapons, they are also MUCH better in pvp. You aren't excited by this at all?
*Your actual dps is much lower, because very few rats have a sig radius anywhere near 400 meters.

Of all the changes made to Eve the torp buff is probably the longest in coming, cruise for long range and torps for short. Makes total sense if you ask me instead of a one range suits all weapon you now have a weapon system that can kick some ass in pvp. Go out join a roaming gang and rejoice in your new found uberness.

I was a great fan of torp raven, I would never use a cruise raven before.
But now we have a pvp raven, and for missions we have to adapt.
I would use this setup
6x Cruise Missile Launcher II
2 x 350mm Railgun II - if u prefer fit arties, they use no cap
Shield Boost Amplifier II
X-Large Shield Booster II
4 x Dread Guristas hardeners (difficult to fit t2 because of cpu, u can fit t2 hardeners and use then Dread Guristas Co-proc)
Co-Processor II
3 x Ballistic Control System II
Power Diagnostic System II or damage control
Rigs : cap rigs

Usually a large T2 booster with amp is enough for PVE (expecially if you use 4 hardeners) so you can ditch the co-proc and fit another BCU.

Since you have this "useless mid slot". Fit a cap recharger and drop a couple of BCUs, now fit velocity rigs.
Voila, you have torps that can hit 40-45km, with 70km with javelin, with MUCH more dps.
But know you, you would rather whine instead of using your brain.

I've been thinking about going this way, altough I've not crunched numbers much, do mind I got a dedicated lootslave trailing behind and doing this in drones.
6xT2 Sieges 1xmed dim nos? (If it fits, dont know depends on launcher rigging I belive...)
1xquad lif mwd, 1xC5 Booster, Invul, EM, Therm named hardeners. PWNAGE
3xBCUII 1xCo-ProcII 1xPDUII
2xVelocity Rigs, 1xCCC rig
Improve upon my setup please =)
