Totally new engine i expect a bug or two (well we all do) but i've had ppl coming to me saying they're got memory leaks. So far mine is hovering around 530, going up but always dropping, as far a i can tell.
Can anyone else confirm a growth of roughly 40kb/s before i have to bug report?

I am not sure what a memory leak is, but when running Eve my system grinds to a halt after around 4 miniutes or so, it this a memory leak?

What is happening is related to the addition of the customizable cache.
What's happening Once you install the patch, there is now an option to have the client retain a cache in memory to help load scenes faster, etc.
This setting is, by default, set to high.
What to do if you're system is grinding to a halt:
If you are finding that EVE is using too much memory, simply go into the esc menu to the graphics settings tab. Find the option for "cache size" under the graphics content settings heading, change it from "high" to "low" or "none" and you should find that the client no longer uses more memory. ____________________________ I break things.

Could you elaborate on between high and extreme please? As in how much memory does high use and precisely what extreme does since no one is really sure?
I currently have mine set on extreme, it stayed around 500 meg for a while but it's now at 822 and rising.

The 'Extreme' setting is equivalent to 512mb of memory being assigned to caching the textures you're calling. 'High' is 256mb. This is the size that the engine puts aside for calling oft used textures, but if you're constantly loading varying types of textures, you may find that the footprint of the game becomes larger as it constantly loads more and different textures into memory.
