I was just wondering if anyone is using the new graphics XFX 6600 LE 256 MB card. I have 2 accounts and was wondering how it works with 1 account. Anyone tried it?

I'm sad to say that at least for me with AMD 64 3000+ and 2GB ram, 6600 GT isn't even close to powerful enough to run one client. Getting about 15-20 fps in stations with shadows turned off, in space it doesn't even render textures unless I stop and wait and if I move my camera a bit after that it turns all models back to just white. |

For reference, the 6600GT is a much better card than the LE.

Youch, that answers my question. I have better processor but I doubt it will help, I guess I will have the lower grafix till I can upgrade.
Anyone tell me what type of card works well with 2 accounts?

well i run dual 6600GT (extreme gamers edition) in SLI mode and 1 account runs at 55-60 FPS whilst in station but soon as i put second account on it drops tp 10-17 FPS and unplayable. So im selling my 2 6600GT's and buying a 8600 GTX

Disable HDR from ingame and disable AA from your GFX card settings.

i very much doubt it, its just that running 2 DirectX 9.0c SM3.0 engines at once is probably to much for a 6600GT, running them with the old content should work fine though, its just that the new graphics put a lot more load on the graphics card.

nah... SLI is basically not much more than a RAID 0 for graphics cards. he's just saying that the power of his two 66GT isn't enough

I just want my miner to be in classic and my fighter in the premium. I wonder how good of a card it would take to get that to be smooth.
Anyone else have any luck with 2 accounts running smootly? I debate weither I will even bother downloading it until I upgrade in a half year or so.
