Will this graphics ard work in Trinity other than the classic version ? thanks

I have the same card, and you should be running classic on it. But even I have been having problems with classic:

I don't know what it is that was on those gates (Crielere gate in Rancer, Hek gate in Eystur) to the exclusion of others that kept making the game crash (BSOD) so hard I had to do a hard reboot each time. Only way I could continue playing was to use my desktop.

I now have done a level 4 mission most things are fine with the gameplay and graphics in classic mode are just fine too, so far .
So I wonder if the card would support the new graphics if I update drivers etc or would I be wasting my time , as my card(radeon x300) would never support it so I would be looking at buying a new graphics card, free eve upgrades ha ha .

the X300 works fine for me in Classic. It will not work for Trinity. You can get an x1300 for around $25usd that is listed to work with Trinity.

Thanks guys indeed its a shame ,but hey Im still playing .

I have an x600 and it doesn't work with the new graphics ~ but look at it this way: you didn't loose your Boot.ini file :-)

Guys even X1300 will have issues with EVE. EVE needs x1600 or better Nvidia 7600 (with 256mb ram not 512) and above.
And the moment you open the shadows above normal even 8800GTX on SLI cannot cope.

I'd hold off updated any hardware. If my 1950xtx is having problems I wonder if the 1300 to 1900 are any better off atm.
Or just go with a Nvidia, I wish they had the better deal when I last purchased a video card now.
