If your mail is in the same quality as this post I'm sure Kieron will be shivering in fear of a law suit .
I do hope you are aware you will need to file suit in Iceland? And that the disclaimer you agree to pretty much puts the responsibility with you? Also that this screw up can be fixed quite easily by remaking the boot.ini file? --- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs |

Actually unless CCP's EULA that we all agreed to BEFORE installing the patch to get to the premium content explicitly states that CCP is not in anyway responsible for damage to the computer their software is installed upon (which makes little difference in negligence cases) then he has a very very good point...
Gonna be a LONNNNGGGGG Day of Meeting and Teleconfernces at CCP for the rest of the week.

Did you notice the EULA you agreed to when installing? I haven't checked but id be sure it includes a "CCP are not responsible for any damage this might cause to your computer blah blah blah"
So send another email and apologise to Keiron for being a nub.

Check the EULA and it's MASSIVE disclaimer.
eula and disclaimer are not enough "protection" if it comes to a real law suit. happened before, basicly a "simple clicking <i accept eula>" is not enough.
<DISCLAIMER: if you read the following parragraph, you accept to NOT disagree with me, and only post something agreeing with me> how to explain this, hmmm, let me try: in a real life contract, you sign with your real signature and that's what makes it valid. in the online industry, specially MMOs, the "simple clicking <i accept eula>" is not proof enough against you that you accepted any terms of the contract, while on the other hand your visa card extract proofs that the company has charged you for some service.
ofc this is a grey area in the internet laws that does only happen in certain countries.
oh and btw, the disclaimer i used, ofc was just a joke to proof my point.
