..Which is basically the most dullest and ridiculous click-fests ever!
Since a completely new UI seems to be out of the question - even though I'd much prefer this option, done with the world's expert on UI's maybe. I'd like to ask can you at least PLEASE take a look at how badly the market system is. It is completely unintuative, the navigation is diabolical, and it is possibly one of the most time-consuming activities.
A new market system would actually encourage more people to do it, and we'd have a much more in-depth economy. Please count the number of different windows you need to go through and the amount of typing you need to JUST to check a market price and adjust your own price accordingly. It is SOUL DESTROYING! Please also note that you have to re-scroll down tabs every time you tab away and back again, NOT EVEN INTERNET EXPLORER STILL DOES THIS! Please note the way the general lack of being able to stack various filters in the market details view, or in fact distinguishing which current filters are in operation. THIS ISN'T THE DARK AGES!
Please can you just at least start from scratch with the market windows? Here's a few possible ideas:
1 - HIGHLIGHT our own orders in the market view. 2 - Allow us to modify our orders FROM the market view. 3 - Impliment quick ways to adjust numbers - perhaps drop down menu for numbers being edited? Or maybe a way to scroll through numbers quickly with mouse wheel? 4 - Get this all in ONE WINDOW rather than several. 5 - Show us which orders have been modified recently, and which have not! A combination of adding a 'LAST MODIFIED' column and HIGHLIGHTING orders a different colour depending on if they were modified recently or not. 6 - Make a DROPDOWN MENU with variable CHILD MENUS in the left column for the various item catagories, rather then simply LISTING EVERYTHING! 7 - Reduce scrolling across the board! 8 - Reduce the clickfest across the board. 9 - MAKE IT NOT OBSCENELY DULL AND TIME-CONSUMING!
That is all, thank you.
EDIT: 10 - Show realtime changes in market prices - Maybe even make allowing to do this a skill. 11 - Add shares to the market. 12 - Give us a live market ticker, that would be cool. |

You see CCP, people find market trading so boring that only a single person is attracted to a thread about it! |

I would also add to your list the ability to cancel multiple orders at once.
It's ridiculous to have to go through and cancel hundreds of orders individually. Let us highlight all the orders we want to cancel and then right click cancel them all at once please. |

Says the idiot who can't even be bothered to write a coherent sentence.
It's got nothing to do with being lazy you. It has everything to do with the UI being so needlessly poor and unecessarily time consuming. Moronss like you might not have a problem with having your time wasted, but then again I imagine you struggle to fill the hours anyway. You'd have to be some kind of ****** to not want a far more efficient UI. |

I'm all for this too. There's SO many ways the UI could be improved, this is my main argument for starting from scratch. |
