Not to be rude ccp but you locked my previous thread and linked me to a page which was completely off topic to my thread. Just to reiterate here is my problem
"Ok so its nothing major really, but its quite a pain in the neck. Before trinity I was able to run eve in windowed mode at 1152x864 resolution, however in trinity iam unable to replicate this, infact there isnt even an option for 1152x864 in windowed mode anymore, there is in fullscreen, however whenever I try to change to this resolution it simply flashes and reverts back to the previous.
PC and monitor are well capable of running the resolution, just wondering if there is a quick solution to the problem, or do I need to adjust to a new res?"
A few peoples replied and gave some help, however it didnt solve me problem, then the thread was locked and I was linked here, sorry but I cant see how the boot.ini problem has anything to do with missing resolutions ingame, not to mention I dont have the boot.ini problem as I have eve installed on a seperate hdd to windows.
Again too any who can provide help thanks in advance.

depend on why did u use that resultion in the first place i might have a solution for u.
if ur desktop mode is 1280x1024 and u used 1152x864 simply becoz the window borders then there is a better solution then that.
use 1280x1024 window mode and either use eve launcher to get rid of the borders and keep it ontop while focused or use evemon option for that (yes evemon have an option for that :O )
i hope this will help u.

I wanted to use the resolution for 2 things really, 1 for fraps, this resolution is good as its a smaller size than 1280x1024 giving smaller videos. 2 it allows me to run mutliple accounts at a reasonable resolution, 1024x768 just doesnt give you enough space to put all the windows, such as local overview etc.

Here's how I make custom res for eve.
Use RivaTuner on the driver settings and add a custom resolution. Reboot if it tells you to.
The new res will be listed in your windows display properties. It should also now be listed in eve settings.
If it isnt dont worry, just set your desktop to this new resolution and start eve in fullscreen mode. Change eve to window mode, and exit.
You can now change your desktop back to its original size and eve will remain in window @ custom size.
