Yupp thats my question
So far my goal has been to become filthy rich. Have most of my time been carebearing in Empire. I can train my combats skills as much as I like but I dont learn to PvP by that.
Hardly have npc hunted either and the only pvp I had is to fire some cruise missiles by mistake on a person.
Me sitting in a BS is simply a laugh.
Now wich route should I take to become a Kick Ass PvPer in the shortest and cheapest way possible ?

Join a PvP corp and lose a lot of frigates and cruisers.

Join Tyrell. Seventeen empire wars and in Stain Alliance, which is at war with the CA. You'll learn how to fight real fast, or people like p0ma will eat you.

Many PvP corps will recruit you, my corp runs Omega Corp Accademy - we recruit new players, provide you with ships for operations and training and also pay you for these operations and training.

Spend a week fighting NPC pirates, get your self some decent mods to use, then try joining a small pirate corp. Thats my opinion :)
btw when fighting NPC pirates ustart with frigates and work your way down the sec status of systems. Then try it in a cruiser

Go out, get in a fight, get your ass blown off. Try to make friends with the people who did it.
Another suggestion is to read the Ship/Modules channel on the forum. People discuss ship loadouts all the time.
Test out module combinations on corpmates.

I tried that and they had blocked me before I had checked out my new pod...

Get in a frigate like a kestral, arm it with cruise and go out to curse alliance and see how many curse frigates, haulers you can get while dodging the battleships.
Will give you excellent practice at understanding the way they work and response times ect. Then get a bigger ship and pvp.
