Edited by: Tatiana Drakou on 07/12/2007 01:37:25 Edited by: Tatiana Drakou on 07/12/2007 01:34:59 After I let the autopatcher download and install the first patch the server status of Tranquility never changed from "unknown". I uninstalled, downloaded the full classic Trinity client and installed that, but nothing changed. If anyone has any idea as to what might be happening, please tell me. I thank you in advance.
Edit: My ISP doesn't seem to have anything to do with this because the same connection lets me log into Eve from my other PC. Unless I'm missing something.

If you've downloaded and applied the patch there is a chance your firewall(if you run one) needs to be told to let the application have net access.
I use Zonealarm (like many other cheapskates), and every time I update a program that accesses the web (usually EVE or Firefox), I get asked if i want that program to be able to connect to the web. Later I then get asked if I want the app to receive connections.
What you may need to do is start EVE, press alt+enter (exit fullscreen) and allow EVE to connect to the interweb. =============================================
My sig got edited, and all i got was a lousy e-mail |

Thank you Wired. That could be it. I can't seem be able to deactivate my windows firewall, and, even though it hadn't given me any trouble before, I can't rule out it's the problem now.

The windows firewall really is something. Nothing I've tried seems to rid me of it. But since this is not an Eve specific problem, I'll try bugging someone else Tyvm for your time all
