Ive searched for similar posts about this but am not sure its a "Feature" or a bug, one can rly never tell actually.
So heres what ive found out
Enegized adaptive nano membrane = 5m3 prepatch 100m3 after patch?? T2 = still 5m3 Armor hardeners prepatch = 5m3 now = 20m3? Large smartbombs pre patch = 50m3 now = 150m3?
Not found anything about this yet. Its not in the patch notes either. Am sure there more modules that had their size increased but i cant be arsed to post them all.

One of the medium lasers is also 100 now. I'm sure it's all unintentional.

Someone else posted that the response from a petition was that this is intentional....

Module's volume is now a better representation of the reprocess amount. ------

Yes, this was intentional, i remember reading about it on forums a month or so ago. Its to stop hauling modules, instead of minerals.
Once again. CCP nerfs something that doesn't need nerfed.
FRACK you ccp.

Edited by: Dexion Slayer on 07/12/2007 03:00:39 I can honestly say tha tif its the case that CCP meant to make modules bigger to represent the ammount of minerals they contain they have FAILED EPICALY...yet again :)
Watchy:
Armor explosive hardener I: 11k trit 4k pye + random small ammounts of poo = 20m3
N-type kinetic hardener I: 30k Trit 20k Pye +random poo
=5m3
FAIL ^^
Energized adaptive nano membrane I: 4.5k trit 3k pye 1k mex +a lil =100m3?<yeh right ccp needs to unerf their calculaters >>:)
Voltaic Nanite Regenerative Membrane I :
8k trit 5k pye + a lil =5m3
ehh i think summin really went wrong cus if they trully intended to make the modules as big as the required mins..they not done a great job :)
Edit:

Am sorry eheh had this post on hold for 30 mins so didnt read that, if thats the case then meh still think some module are unreasonably big for the mins they use :)

it only effected t1 items, because you could build stuff, then ship it out, and refine, basicly compressing minerals.
But this makes it now even harder for the small corps to have a chance.
Almost every change ccp makes screws the small corps, and only benifits the rich corps/alliances

If you thiink this hurts small corps more then big ones you are very much mistaken. Min compression is used mainly to ship large amounts of mins out to 0.0. Not exactly a small corp activity.
This is not being done to "hurt" anyone its to increase transport costs. This makes local mining more valuable and also mitigates the 0.0 suck of minerals from high sec. This in turn should hurt isk farming operations.
It also will mean in particular that high volume minerals (i.e. Trit) will be especially costly to ship.

I am a small corp in 0.0, and i used this. We cant bring a freighter, or 20 down when ever we want like big alliances can. We are very limited to when we can move and we cant.
Obviously, you are mistake.

It seems to be intentional and it sucks ... 150m¦ smartbombs, so much for looting missions...

Yeah its not so much the mineral compression that bugs me, as much as it is looting, and transporting supplies with haulers is going to be even harder. Or shipping a bunch of named loot to empire.
Once again alliances win, small corps lose.

Stop your whining. The new t2 battleships have huge cargo bays. Get the Paladin, honor tank it and you should be able to loot any mission or belt out there in no more than a trip or sixty.
p.s. People still loot missions?
