This post was made to set the record straight as The Hooch refuses to admit on the forums that he did infact pay RAK off a while ago to let our dec on the Privateers slide. I believe the payment was mainly on the behalf of Modro who had, at the time, joined your alliance to evade our dec on them.

Here is a log of a convo after the deal was made that 300 mill be sent to us and that we would not shoot modro or any privateers unless fired upon. In addition, if fired upon after the 300 was sent all deals were off.

The Privateer Alliance did infact pay us and this is no "ugly rumor" to quote BC Hastings. Just the same it wasn't solely a payment to get us off your backs as much the newbs, who for some reason were allowed to join you. I do realize that you did not keep them in your alliance long, which no doubt had to do with how **** they were. Still the fact remains you paid us off and nothing you do or say will change that. As long as it agitates you I have no doubt our members will continue to hang it over your heads.

TBH a fake chatlog is not something I would put above racketeers, it might be legit but TBH you guys are scumbags so I will take this with a grain of salt.

Privateers have a lot more of my respect, so if all you got is some **** you whipped up in notepad then GG.

EDIT: That said they are pretty much ****e now but at the same time even their sad husk has more credibility than you.

Anyone who has even vaguely heard of Racketeers would know full well that if such a deal had ever taken place then the Racketeers would make a point of breaking it immediately.

There is a really simple reply to this garbage.

The Privateer Leadership, past, present, and future, have never and will never pay to have someone stop a wardec. In fact we encourage you to spend you isk and dec us. We don't care who you are, who you think you are, or who you want to try to be like. We love having flashing red in the overview.

I will pay nobody to remove any of the flashing red that appears on my overview ever. The Hooch will never pay to have any of the flashing red removed from Privateers overview. Simple as that.

Nice Try with the fake log though. Not even nicely done, Hooch doesn't spell that well.

Oh and there ya go Sorted now you can go ahead and reply. Remember there is still a home for you when you are ready. I know you want to.

The players behind the characters are certainly NOT liars, I know from some of the jobs they do that they are responsible individuals. In game is a different matter as they would sell their Grandmothers gold teeth for a T2 MWD.

I think this argument is more about RAK overtaking Privateers in the empire griefing stakes. Some people are obviously uncomfortable with this, but unfortunately times change and it is a fact.

For all it's worth RAK are essential to gameplay in high sec and I'm proud that they are going from strength to strength. It's like watching my child grow up to be honest (the RAK guys will know what I mean)

One of the reasons that you have not received the expected gruff and explicit response from The Hooch, is because Hooch has been absent for the majority of the past 10 days dealing with a personal real life issue. If you preview the killboards at Battleclinic.com you will notice a drastic absense of kills by Hooch during those days. He in no way would ever offer money to prevent a Dec.

The week in question we not only held a war dec with Racketeers, but 10 other alliances/corps as well. I had never even heard of Racketeers prior to the war dec so why on earth would we want to drop a chance at someone else paying to dec us?

Your logic is as hidden as your ships were.

Now on the different side of the coin, you guys fielded some decent ships had you just brought them out 30km farther. I respect teh posts that the racketeer members have written, displaying your trust in the individual making this claim. I think that quite possibly the monies were divided in an effort to bolster your morale but I am sorry to say no funds we sent buy this alliance with the exception of my Manticore loot..good shot..the change in range was unexpected...lol
