I just noticed that low-sec mission running has been nuked to death. Namely, there are no more NPC buy orders for Nexus chips which accounted for half the income for mission runners. Can developers comment if this was intentional and what purpose it serves? I thought the plan was to populate low sec not to send us back to high sec to run missions. If my income is cut in half then I'll just cancel one of my accounts as I can't support both with enough isk. Simple math, plain and simple.

A CCP member told me in help chat that it was intentional. I can understand turning off an isk faucet, but replacing it with some viable, profitable alternative lp store offers would have been nice.
The already shrinking profits from the last remaining profitable lp store items will only shrink more with the former nexus chip grinders all flocking to them at once. |

You can't replace a faucet with another faucet. ---- DOMINIX IS INVINCIBLE:(((( |

LP store offers such as the implants are isk sinks, not faucets. Creating additional isk sink lp store offers which give the buyer a decent profit when they resell on the market would give legitimacy to some of the current nearly broken to broken lp stores without acting as a faucet. Many of the LP store offers, like the Gallente Large Armor Repairer which is the same thing as a T2 LAR, are pointless, and even some of the modules which are slightly better than T2 have cheaper, more plentiful faction counterparts.

I'd be for adding more stuff to LP store. Having more choice is never bad. So that even if you cant exchange it for ISK directly, it would allways be something that you'd want from there. Finally buying that Navy ship that you've been working towards is a great sense of accomplishment, so the LP store is great:)
I still remember buying a full +4 set after doing lvl 3 missions to get standings up, it felt like a big accomplishment, even if the total isk value wasnt really that high. ------------------------------------------------ Ooooh look at me, I'm a signature! |
