Ok im getting a bit fed up. i still cannot run two accounts. ive petioned it and no response. Please CCp you need to sort this out some feedback. when is a patch gonna be released? i am tired of these crashes. Tired TIRED TIRED!!! in the time ive been playing since 2k5 ive never had these kind of malfunctions. yer new engine sucks if eve classic wont run same as it used to. and my patience is giving way to anger. Please give some feedback.

still no reply to my petition.
i've just disabled my 2nd account. if i hear nothing by the week's end i'll be disabling this one too.

This is a 2nd pc I use to run Eve when I'm not at home. My main machine is much newer and everything runs great.
Different system specs - same problem. My cpu heats up and shuts down my laptop after causing other intermittant prolems from heat. never had this problem until this week. |

I have a slow system so battle with CPU pegging 100% alot, but I have found a couple things, first I make sure there is plenty of room on the C Drive, a few gigs. Second I watch the memory Page files (pf) in Windows task manager 'performance tab'. When it gets up to 800MB, I restart game. (Ctrl Alt Delete Once to open windows task manager)
I believe these issues are because my CPU is slow, but I thought I might add what worked for me.
Also I once set my desktop to 32bit colors (in windows) This crippled my game, I run in 16 bit on desktop, and in game when playing windowed. Took me hours to figure out what happened when I accidently bumped up bit rate in display settings(windows not game)
If in 32 bit, each full screen surface takes twice as much video memory as a 16 bit one.
great game though :)
